Borneo International Band Festival 2026

As we conclude our final competition of the year, we look back with gratitude for the dedication, hard work, and unforgettable memories we’ve shared. This competition also marks the final journey for our Form 5 seniors and several of our alumni.

On behalf of the SJPS Concert Band, we sincerely thank our teachers, parents, alumni, and everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. Your encouragement and guidance have meant so much to us.

Although this is our last competition of the year, our journey is far from over. We will continue to rehearse, perform, and strive to be better with every opportunity ahead.

A special thank you to Mr. Tan for everything you have done for our band. Your patience, dedication, and constant encouragement have helped us grow both as musicians and as individuals. Thank you for always believing in us, giving us opportunities to learn and perform, and creating memories that we will carry with us for years to come. We are truly grateful for your guidance and support, and none of this would have been possible without you.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to creating many more memories together.

miwFEST 2026. 💚

What an unforgettable journey this has been. As one chapter ends for some of our seniors, another begins for many of our juniors. Every rehearsal, every challenge, and every sacrifice led us to this moment. We are incredibly proud to bring home a Gold Award for our school, our teachers, our families, and our community. This achievement belongs to everyone who was part of this journey.

Throughout the trip, we faced many challenges, but each one reminded us that teamwork is about more than playing together—it is about supporting one another through every situation. Without trust, unity, and determination, none of this would have been possible.

To all our alumni, thank you for returning to guide, encourage, and support us. Your dedication and belief in us have helped shape who we are today. Once you’re part of SJPS Concert Band, you’ll always be family.

To our committee members, thank you for working tirelessly behind the scenes. Your hard work, planning, and dedication made this trip run smoothly, and we are truly grateful.

To all our teachers, thank you for your patience, guidance, and constant encouragement. Thank you for helping us grow as musicians and as individuals.

To all our parents, thank you for your endless love and support. Thank you for sending us to every rehearsal and performance, always believing in us and encouraging us every step of the way.

Last but not least, Mr. Tan, thank you for never giving up on us. To many, you are our conductor, but to us, you are our mentor, biggest supporter, and father figure. Thank you for believing in us, pushing us to be our best, and giving us opportunities we will treasure forever. None of this would have been possible without you.

Finally, thank you to every member of SJPS Concert Band. Every rehearsal, performance, challenge, and memory has made this journey unforgettable.

Yesterday we had our Fun Camp, and it was a fun and meaningful experience for everyone. We played various games that helped us bond and work together as a team💚. During the camp, we also made new friends and had the chance to try different instruments 🎷 , which allowed us to learn more about band and music. The activities were enjoyable and helped us feel more connected to one another. Overall, it was a memorable and fun day for all of us. 🎶
