Tadika Little Foxes

20/9/24- Today we looked at adjectives. We had to find adjectives that represent ourselves based on our names. We used a dictionary and google to help us out. We then played a version of charade. We had to guess the animal stuck on our forehead using only yes/no question. This had us laughing. Next our science teacher taught us how to write using invisible ink. This was actually used in the past to write secret codes. Before lunch, our teacher showed us paintings and we had to interpret them. She then gave us a theme- happiness and we painted our interpretation of it. We had to explain to our friends why we chose to paint the picture too. After lunch, we continued with air dry clay. We first choose a picture and tried to replicate it and compared the results. It was funny how some turned out. We also did a name keychain. To end the day, we played catch with water balloons outside.

19/9/24- We started the day with an ice breaking session to welcome our friend. We had to write down our answers on a piece of paper. The answers were collected and we had to guess who wrote it by pointing at them. It was fun as some of our guesses were wrong even though we were quite confident. Next we played pass the parcel. We had to pass around a parcel and the person that has the parcel when the music stopped had to answer the trivia questions to win the prize. If we couldn’t answer, we can get one friend to help us answer the questions. We were quite competitive. Next our science teacher taught us how to make a parachute. Before that, we had to write down our hypothesis on whether big / small parachute go down faster/slower. The experiment went well and we had to write down our conclusion too. Before stopping for lunch break, we learned how to make a pop up card. The finished results were very good our teacher said. We stopped for lunch and played water balloon catch which was so much fun. After lunch, we started baking our cupcakes. We also wrote down what we did so that we can try the recipe at home. That’s all for today’s update.

18 September 2024- Today we started the day with a board game.We had to guess things about our friends. We got most of the answers right too. We then learned about inventions. We looked at cool inventions around the world. We also were given a task each to create a new invention and present it our friends. We were shy but presented well. Our science teacher then taught us how to make a zoetrope.Some of us were quite creative too. We ended the morning session with a boys vs girls vocabulary game which was a lot of fun. We had to come up with as many words as we can based on the words given to us.It was a close call but the girls won! After our lunch break, we were taught how to sew. We sewed buttons and also made a keychain. It was exhausting as we needed to concentrate for the tasks. We ended the day with a card game and also a football match. See you tomorrow!

Our first parent-teacher meeting will be conducted next week. Teachers are excited …kids not so much 🫢😂
