DAY 3: Relocation Process 📦

Alhamdulillah, today’s relocation process was successfully completed with a total of 104 boxes from Level 1 collections and 148 boxes from Level 2 collections, bringing the grand total to 252 collection boxes prepared for transfer to the next location. 💪

Meanwhile, part of the team stationed at IMC today successfully managed the relocation and rearrangement of furniture from Level 2 to their designated areas.

We were also grateful to receive cleaning support from the Daya Bersih team throughout the process. 🧹

Step by step, the journey continues as we move closer to the next chapter of Dar al-Hikmah Library Kuantan.

DAY 2: Relocation Process 📦

Day 2 began as usual, with a stronger team presence compared to yesterday, allowing the relocation process to move more smoothly and efficiently throughout the day. 💪

Alhamdulillah, today we successfully managed to pack a total of 104 boxes of Level 1 collections. Meanwhile, another 104 boxes of Level 2 collections were also successfully packed and prepared for the next phase of relocation works.

At this stage, only the Red Spot Collection remains and will be continued tomorrow as the relocation journey carries on step by step.

Thank you to everyone involved for the teamwork, commitment, and continuous effort throughout the process.

DAY 1: Relocation in Progress 📦

This morning, our relocation journey officially began with a roll call session at 9:30 AM before the team was divided into two main groups to manage the movement process by level.

Our main focus today was carefully taking down books from the shelves, securing them, and packing them into boxes to be placed at designated collection points for the next phase of relocation works.

Alhamdulillah, on Day 1 alone, the team successfully managed to relocate a total of 9 trolleys of library materials.

Step by step, shelf by shelf — the journey continues.

Thank you to everyone involved for the teamwork, energy, and commitment throughout the day.

𝓐 𝓶𝓮𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓯𝓾𝓵 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓪 𝓷𝓮𝔀 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻.

On 7–8 May 2026, the DaHLK team carried out DaHLK Cleaning Day No.1 (Pre-Handover Preparation) as part of our preparations before returning home.

Over the two days, staff worked together to arrange tables and workspaces, organise and move items from storage, and clean various areas within the library. We also took the opportunity to upgrade the clients’ surau by installing carpets to provide a more comfortable and welcoming space for everyone.

This effort would not have been possible without the support and teamwork from our dedicated staff, including the assistance from the Daya Bersih team. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and commitment throughout the process. 💚

Step by step, we are getting closer to welcoming our clients back into a refreshed and improved library environment. 📚✨

A productive morning at Dar al-Hikmah Library!

This morning’s Basic SPSS Class brought together participants from SASMEC, Kulliyyah of Science, Kulliyyah of Nursing, and Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences for an engaging introductory session on data analysis using SPSS.

With around 9 participants joining the class, the session covered essential topics including data entry, data management, descriptive statistics, and exploratory data analysis.

A heartfelt thank you to our instructor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Shafiq Mohd Ibrahim, for sharing his valuable knowledge and guidance throughout the session. ✨

We hope this session helps participants build greater confidence in handling research data and strengthens their research journey ahead. 📚📈
