Happy Monthsary! 🎉

Exactly one month ago, IIUM Health, Safety & Environment (IHSEN) and Eartistic Sdn. Bhd. officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the establishment of the IIUM–EARTISTIC Innovation Centre.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing hearing healthcare through research, innovation, and strategic collaboration. As we celebrate this one-month milestone, we look forward to turning this shared vision into meaningful impact for the industry and the community.

The Pre-Congress Workshop on Guidelines on Management of Occupational Noise-Related Hearing Disorders (ONRHD) will take place on 4–5 August 2026 at Grand Margherita Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak, in conjunction with ACOH 2026, and in collaboration with DOSH Malaysia. Just few days left!

The workshop will bring together occupational health professionals for two days of discussions and practical learning on the management of occupational noise-related hearing disorders, with a focus on current guidelines and best practices in hearing conservation.

We look forward to a successful workshop and wish all registered participants a productive and rewarding learning experience. See you guys soon!

IHSEN Kulliyyah of Medicine IIUM proudly marks the signing of the MoU and MoA between Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (IIUM) and Eartistic Sdn. Bhd., establishing the Eartistic-IIUM Innovation Centre.

The centre will drive research, testing, and innovation in hearing protection technologies, including the development of electronic Hearing Protection Devices (e-HPD) such as theMOTH project. Based at IIUM Kuantan, it aims to become a national and international reference centre for Personal Hearing Protection Devices (PHP) in line with global standards.

This strategic collaboration reflects IHSEN’s commitment to advancing industry-academia partnerships, supporting research commercialization, and strengthening training and student engagement.
