Natural Medicinal Products Centre (NMPC) is based in International Islamic University Malaysia under the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy.
The center aims to meet the requests and needs from local industries in developing natural medicinal products for commercial purposes. The center can provide quality services, consultation, training, and successful research collaboration in natural medical product R&D owing to its well-equipped laboratories and specialized instruments, as well as the center's experienced personnel in diverse natural medicinal product sectors.

📍One method to measure the level of flavonoids in our foods is by using a chemical method known as the total flavonoid content (TFC) assay.

Along with vitamin C, vitamin E, and carotenoids, polyphenols are among the dietary reducing agents which act as antioxidants that protect the body’s tissues against oxidative stress.
💡FRAP assay is one of the antioxidant tests that can measure the amounts of polyphenols in a food sample.
