On the 18th of May, the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih are honoured to serve as volunteers at the Turtle Rock Charity Run, an event organised by the Lions Club of Kuantan to support community well-being and raise awareness for environmental conservation. 🌿🐢

Our team guided participants along the route, distributing drinking water, and helping transport supplies to ensure the event ran smoothly. From start to finish, our Leos gave their best with dedication and teamwork, rain or shine.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful community event, which allowed us to grow through service and experience the joy of helping others. 🧡💙

In celebration of the joy that books bring, the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih carried out our Romance of Book project on the 24th of April. With hearts full of hope, we donated a delightful selection of colouring and activity books to a local donation centre, aiming to brighten the days of children and encourage their imagination to soar.

Through this cheerful act of giving, we hope to plant the seeds of creativity and remind little readers that kindness is never out of reach.

On the 20th of April, In our ‘Bring Your Bag’ project, Leo Club of SMK Air Putih stepped up for the environment by using reusable grocery bags during while shopping. ♻️🛍️ By saying no to single-use plastics and embracing eco-friendly habits, we’re proving that sustainability starts with simple choices. Let’s continue to shop smart, live green, and inspire others to do the same because every bag matters and every little effort counts.

On the 19th of April, the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih carried out our Feed it toward project, aiming to lend a helping hand to the community through small yet meaningful actions. We donated food items to a Community Fridge including instant noodles, eggs, canned food, and other daily essentials hoping to support those in need while also reducing food waste.

By contributing to the Community Fridge (爱心冰箱), we not only aim to ease someone’s burden but also inspire others to experience the joy of giving. After all, even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day!

🎗️💛𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 🌟

Organised by the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih and supported by the Lions Club of Kuantan, the event came to a beautiful close on the 12th of April. Though modest in size, but it was big in heart.

This meaningful event was held to raise funds for Ayden, a brave little boy who has been battling childhood cancer since he was just one year old. His journey hasn’t been easy, and the cost of treatment weighs heavily on his family. With the funds raised, our committee visited Ayden’s home to deliver the contributions which is five boxes of milk powder and five packs of diapers to support him in his fight.

To every sponsor, guest, parent, and young participants, thank you for filling the day with colour and compassion. Despite the challenges, our Leo team gave it their all. And when we saw Ayden’s smile, fragile yet full of courage, we knew that every late night and every effort was worth it.

Thank you for helping us colour his world with hope.

On the 5th of April, the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih once again returned to the Kuantan Chinese Association Old Folks Home for our project, a follow-up to our previous visit where we brought smiles to the elderly through classic song performances.

This time, we rolled up our sleeves for a garden cleanup! The backyard was filled with weeds and dried leaves, so our members cheerfully got to work like trimming, sweeping, and clearing the space together. Even Mr. Loong, the friendly owner of the house, joined us in pruning the overgrown branches along the fence. By the end of the day, the garden looked so much cleaner, and seeing the transformation brought smiles all around!

On the 18th of March, the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih carried out the Voice of Resilience project in conjunction with a blood donation drive at Kuantan City Mall. While encouraging the public to donate blood and help save lives, we also took the opportunity to raise awareness about disaster relief and preparedness. This initiative highlighted the importance of fostering a resilient and informed community during times of crisis.

Throughout the event, our Leo members actively held up posters and engaged with passersby, sharing vital information about disaster response. Through these meaningful face-to-face interactions, we sparked conversations, answered questions, and reminded the public that even small actions can make a big difference in emergencies.

On the 12th of March, the Leo Club of SMK Air Putih carried out a meaningful visit to a childhood cancer patient in collaboration with the Lions, aiming to bring warmth and support to children battling cancer. We were honoured to meet a brave young boy named Ayden, who is currently fighting prostate cancer.

Through the visit, we hoped to understand his condition better and show him the community’s care and support. Together with the Lions, we donated essential items such as diapers and milk powder to help ease Ayden’s daily challenges. We believe that every act of kindness makes a difference. Inspired by Ayden’s strength, a fundraising effort is also being carried out to support him further.
