LATEST UPDATE ON REGULATIONS OF OUTING FOR STUDENTS

Assalamualaikum wbt.

May this message reach you in the best of Iman and Health.

As per statement issued by Office of the Campus Director regarding the reduction of number of days made available for outing during MCO as well as number of students allowed per one outing session, there are few important points we would like to highlight:

1⃣ The three students’ slots are reserved for 1 international, 1 brother (local) and 1 sister (local)

2⃣ The students who are going on outing are entrusted to buy basic necessities for their friends in Mahallah. Both parties must be considerate towards each other and reach a mutual understanding in the process of making the deal to order and buy things.

3⃣ Buy basic necessities only, we suggest those who want to place their order to limit the number of items into only one or two. This will be supervised by OSEM during outing accordingly.

4⃣ Do fill in the outing form with your complete details. Students are only allowed to fill in the form once, in order to give chance to others to do the same. Student Union Pro Tem Committee will remove the names of those who do not follow these rules.

[UPDATE ON STUDENTS MOVEMENT DURING MCO]

Assalamualaikum wbt. to all IIUM Kuantan students at mahallah.

After taking into account the advice from Kementerian Pelajaran Tinggi (KPT), we are required to inform a very disheartening, yet very important information to all students.

Because of the fear of another catastrophic and massive outbreak, students are required to remain at mahallah until further announcement.

Hence, we will try as hard as our might allows, to organise some fulfilling activities to help you fill your leisure time, in the hope that it will help to mitigate your worries at least to a lesser degree if not completely. You may reach any of our exco if you need any assistance throughout the MCO period. May Allah SWT reward your patience.
