Behind the rhythm of each school day are many unseen moments. Materials being prepared, spaces being tended, and quiet care given with consistency.

Today, we take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate every individual who makes this place what it is.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 🤍

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

In the days leading up to it, they prepared invitation cards and went out to invite our neighbours. Through this, they experienced how to approach others, communicate, and extend an invitation with confidence.

Throughout the celebration, the children took part in many ways. They shared simple performances, helped prepare traditional food, harvested fresh greens from our farm, and even took charge of tending the fire.

What matters to us is not only the celebration itself, but how the children take part in it, with responsibility, connection, and a sense of belonging. This is where meaningful learning takes place.

Sometimes it looks like children quietly sketching the school grounds, noticing details they have walked past many times but are only now truly seeing. Sometimes it sounds like curious questions, shared discoveries, and conversations unfolding under open skies.

At ESKL, learning begins with direct experience. Children observe, draw, measure, reflect, and gradually form understanding through their relationship with the world around them.

This is part of our daily rhythm — unhurried, hands-on, and deeply connected to the living world around us. We believe knowledge is not simply delivered; it is cultivated over time.

At school, the season was gently brought to life. Our children learnt to make kulich, eggs were dyed with natural colours by our teachers, and little ones set off on an Easter egg hunt around the grounds.

A joyful day of discovery, sharing, and simple celebration.
𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹, 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.

Last weekend, we held a dental talk for our Waldorf community, 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗔𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵. This is part of our ongoing intention to create spaces where parents and educators can begin to explore the development of the child — and of ourselves, through a broader understanding of the human being.

The session inviting us to look beyond symptoms and consider the processes of growth and development in a new way.

☀️Some mornings in the lovely sun, our kindergarten children step into the farm to harvest what they have helped plant.

They pick the greens themselves, carry them back to the kitchen, and soon see them turned into part of their lunch.
