We are halfway through 2026! This brilliant "2026" designed by Taiga Shinto using one sheet uncut 27x27 grid. It’s always fascinating to see the literal blueprint behind the art.

The contrast between the dense, mathematically precise crease pattern (CP) on the left and the clean, sharp typography of the final folded model on the right perfectly captures the magic of paper folding. Every mountain and valley fold on that grid works in harmony to lock those digits into place. A fantastic study in structural design, geometry, and grid planning! 📐📄

This trendy IDK is designed by Taiga Shinto (), a Japanese Origami Artist, currently studying in University of Malaya under student exchange program. The design utilizes a 21 x 21 grid with color change and brilliant layering to form the letters.

Kuala Lumpur (fondly known as KL) is the capital and largest city in Malaysia. A vibrant, multi-ethnic metropolis, it serves as the nation's cultural, financial, and economic hub. The city seamlessly blends ancient heritage with futuristic architecture, famous for landmarks like the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and world's second tallest building Merdeka 118 Tower, a 118-story megatall skyscraper 678.9 meters (2,227 feet).

This creation "KL" is designed by Taiga Shinto, a rising star in Origami field, that is currently under exchange student program in University of Malaya. Designed on a 13x13 grid utilizing color change technique.

Located just 10–15 kilometers southwest of Kuala Lumpur, it serves as a bustling, self-sustaining satellite city and a prominent residential and commercial hub within the Greater Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area.Originally established in 1952 as Malaysia's first planned township, it has since grown into a massive urban center with over half a million residents.
