Mariyam Rishmy (Master of Real Estate 2023/2024) from the Maldives was awarded her country’s President Excellence Award for obtaining Masters with Distinction from UM. Rishmy currently works as Senior Asset Management Officer at the Housing Development Corporation.

The Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya, is honored to host the accreditation visit for the Master of Real Estate (ODL) program on 25–26 August 2025 at Mercu Alam Bina.
This marks a historic milestone as we are the first institution in Malaysia to offer a Master of Real Estate via Open & Distance Learning (ODL) — reaffirming our commitment to academic innovation, accessibility, and excellence.
