🎭 Bringing Macbeth to life for our Year 6 students
Our Year 6 students recently had the wonderful opportunity to experience Macbeth through an engaging live performance by the KL Shakespeare Players.
With music, movement, audience interaction and powerful storytelling, Shakespeare’s language became more accessible, memorable and exciting for our young learners. The performance helped students connect more deeply with the characters, themes and emotions of the story, enriching what they have been exploring in their English lessons.
Experiences like these bring learning beyond the classroom, helping students build curiosity, confidence, imagination and a greater appreciation for literature.
A heartfelt thank you to the KL Shakespeare Players for creating such a meaningful and inspiring theatre experience for our students. ✨

Raising resilient children begins with connection 🧡
Recently, we welcomed Ms Yen Wey, Counsellor and Play Therapist from Taylor’s Puchong, our sister campus, to facilitate an insightful parent workshop on “Raising Resilient Kids & Teens: 3 Steps to Build Emotional Intelligence.”
Through the session, parents explored how children’s brain development, emotions and relationships influence their behaviour, wellbeing and resilience. They also learned practical ways to notice, acknowledge and respond to their child’s emotions with care and confidence.
When parents and school grow in understanding together, children benefit from a stronger circle of care around them. Through meaningful conversations like these, we hope to support our community as they nurture resilient, confident and emotionally aware young people. ✨

🔢 Maths Beyond the Classroom
Our Year 6 students proudly represented TISKL at the AIMS Math Challenge 2026, where they had the opportunity to apply their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills beyond the classroom.
Through seven challenging rounds, our students built confidence, strengthened teamwork and practised problem-solving under pressure, with one team achieving a commendable 11th place overall.
Well done to our students for embracing the challenge with resilience and enthusiasm, and thank you to our Mathematics teachers for guiding them throughout the journey. ✨

Learning Through Movement🏃♀️
Recently, we welcomed parents to our Primary Physical Education (PE) Parents Workshop for a closer look at how PE is taught from Early Years to Primary, and why movement plays such an important role in children’s development 🌱
Through PE, students learn far beyond physical skills. They build coordination, confidence, teamwork, communication, resilience, sportsmanship and healthy habits that support their growth beyond the classroom 💪✨
During the workshop, parents experienced how lessons are delivered through age-appropriate activities, from brain warm-ups to teeball, basketball, high 5 volleyball, badminton, shot put and turbo javelin 🎯
Thank you to our Primary PE team and parents for making it an active and meaningful session 🧡

🎶 A wider stage. A stronger voice. A proud TISKL moment.
Our Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur (TISKL) Primary Choir proudly took part in BIG SING 2026, joining hundreds of young singers from schools across Malaysia in a vibrant celebration of music, friendship and collaboration.
For our 20 choir students, it was more than a performance. Through rehearsals, teamwork and singing together, they built confidence, discipline, stage presence and a deeper appreciation for the arts.
The AIMS BIG SING also gave our students meaningful exposure beyond the school community, connecting them with peers who share their passion for music and performance.
Well done to our Primary Choir students and dedicated teachers for this wonderful achievement. 🌟
This is how we Raise Them Ready.

A warm start to Term 2 at TISKL 🌟
Starting at a new school is a big step, and at Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur, we believe every student should feel welcomed, supported, and ready from the very beginning.
Through our JumpStart sessions, our School Counselling Unit (SCU), together with Peer Mentors from the Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Programme (PPMP), welcomed new students across Primary and Secondary as they began their journey with us.
From fun-filled activities to meaningful conversations, students had the opportunity to make new friends, ask questions, learn more about school life, and settle into the TISKL community with confidence.
It was wonderful to see our new students connect, smile, and take their first steps into a new term with support around them.
Welcome to TISKL 💛
We are excited to be part of your journey as we continue to Raise Them Ready.
