"There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah." — Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) [Sahih Muslim].

Today, on the 9th of Zulhijjah 1447H, millions of pilgrims gather at the plain of Arafah in profound worship, unity, and submission. For those of us observing this blessed day from afar, it serves as a powerful reminder of mercy, forgiveness, and renewal.

Let us maximize this sacred time by keeping our tongues moist with the remembrance of Allah, offering heartfelt prayers, and observing the recommended fast, which expiates the sins of the preceding and coming year.

Let us frequently recite the best supplication of this day:
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
"There is no god but Allah alone, Who has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him all praise is due, and He has power over everything."

May Allah accept our good deeds, answer our silent prayers, and shower His ultimate barakah upon our families, our community, and the entire Ummah. 🤲🕋

On 18th May 2026, the International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART) was honored to receive a courtesy visit from the International Center for Strategic Research (USAR), Turkiye.

The meeting served as an important platform to discuss future strategic partnerships between INHART and USAR. Both institutions explored impactful joint initiatives across three key scopes:

✈️ Muslim-Friendly Tourism

To solidify this global partnership, both parties have expressed their intention to initiate a Letter of Intent (LOI) as a stepping stone toward a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

We look forward to a fruitful and meaningful collaboration with USAR as we work together to advance the global Halal ecosystem and Muslim-friendly services.

On 14th May 2026, the International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART) official delegation visited the Kulliyyah of Sustainable Tourism and Contemporary Languages (KSTC) at IIUM Pagoh. This visit was initiated to strengthen institutional engagement and expand future academic collaborations.

The comprehensive program opened doors for several high-impact discussions and initiatives, including:
🔬 Laboratory Development: Exploring strategic proposals for new lab facilities.
📈 Upskilling Training Initiatives: Enhancing talent development and professional skills.
🎓 Academic & Training Promotion: Showcasing INHART’s specialised training and postgraduate programmes.
