DSH Institute of Technology (DIT) began as a department registered under the license of Damai Service Hospital (HQ), which is a private hospital in Jalan Ipoh that was established in 1981. With more than 23 years of experience handling the Assistant Nurse Certificate Program, DIT has produced more than 300 graduates, which have found employment both locally and internationally. Passing rate for th

e Nursing Board Malaysia Registration Examination has been high at 100%. In 2013/14 DIT undertook the challenge to become a reputable independent provider of tertiary education in Malaysia, producing graduates who meet the needs of initially the healthcare and subsequently other industries. It began with the move to new premises at Platinum Walk in Kuala Lumpur, and has taken off with the development of many allied health science programmes.

We are pleased to share that the PPL Verification Assessment for the SKM Pest Services Operation (LE-050-3:2013), Batch 02 was successfully conducted on 18–19 August 2026.

The assessment was conducted by PPL, Encik Mohamed Naser Shibghatullah

✨ All candidates successfully achieved the Terampil (Competent) status! 👏🎉

Beyond the assessment, the PPL also took the opportunity to share valuable knowledge, insights and motivation with our students, encouraging them to continuously improve themselves and build confidence in their professional journey. 💪📚

Moving forward, we will continue to focus on strengthening our students’ communication skills, enhancing their overall competency and preparing them for greater professional readiness. 🌟

26 July 2026 – International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem.

In conjunction with World Mangrove Day 2026, two lecturers proudly accompanied our Public Health Assistant and SKM Pest Control students from DSH Institute of Technology to participate in *CSR Program - SMG Mega Mangrove Cleanup 2026* at Mangrove Point, Port Klang.

The programme, themed “Restoring Ecosystems, Renewing Futures,” brought together volunteers in a large-scale initiative featuring mangrove clean-up and mangrove tree planting, while also supporting the Malaysia Book of Records attempt.

This meaningful community engagement activity provided valuable experiential learning beyond the classroom, enabling students to apply their knowledge in a real-world environmental setting while strengthening teamwork, environmental stewardship, and civic responsibility.

We are proud of our students for their enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to conserving our coastal ecosystems. Such initiatives play an important role in shaping competent public health and pest control professionals who are committed to sustainable environmental practices.
