Good news to all the self-employed! 💼💼
Currently the tax relief has been split to EPF (RM4K) and life insurance (RM3k), hence you may want to self-contribute to EPF and Government will top up 💰 15% of your contribution amount to a maximum of RM250 a year!

Good news or bad news? Well it depends.
No doubt properties are good investment, IF ONLY you have the "holding power". Please do not let the "outdated" mindset tells you renting a property is bad because you are paying for people's house.
There are a lot of other investment options that can give you similar or better ROI than property's rental yields; PLUS, you wouldn't want to trouble yourself with a headache to find quality tenants and collecting punctual rent.
I always believe, buy for investment instead of buy for stay. The key is still to plan properly before you commit to at least a 25 years debt.
