This year, all 5 Fun Home schools celebrated Mother’s Day with a special Vegetable & Farmer theme — because mummies are like farmers, nurturing little seeds with endless love, patience, warmth, and care. 🌿

From lovely performances, handmade vegetable bouquets, fun games, and beautiful decorations, every moment was filled with love and appreciation for our amazing mummies. 💐✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful mothers — thank you for shaping every child bloom beautifully with your unconditional love. ❤️✨

🧱 “U” is for Unforgettable MUD Play! 🪵✨

Learning the letter sound ‘u’ from Jolly Phonics and bringing it to life through messy mud play! 🤎

Little hands explored, squished, scooped, and splashed in the mud while connecting sound to real-life experiences in the most natural way. From “uh uh umbrella” to earthy adventures, learning became something they could truly feel 🌿

Our little learners discovered that the best learning happens when it’s hands-on (and a little messy too!) Messy, sensory-rich play like this makes learning stick for life ✨

🌿🐯 老虎来喝下午茶 🧺✨

A tiger came for tea… and so did our little learners! 🐯💛 This week, we explored the word “老” through the story 《老虎来喝下午茶》 and discovered it inside 老虎!
From story time to picnic time 🍓🥪 Our little ones shared snacks, laughter, and a cozy tea party with friends 🧺✨ This is how we learn best through play, connection, and joyful moments 💛🌈

So proud of this moment at the World Forum ECCE 🌍✨ Our teacher Damien really owned the stage, full energy, full confidence 👍

Moments like this make us appreciate having such inspiring mentors. 💙

A Joyful Morning at Fun Home Gembira 🌞

So glad to have our “personal yoga instructor” teaching the kids a simple yoga session 🤭🧘‍♀️ (Just kidding… she’s actually our vice principal!)

Through yoga, our little ones learn to stretch, balance, and relax their bodies ✨ It also helps improve focus, body awareness, and emotional calmness 💛 Happy kids, healthy minds 🌈

“WOW, REAL FIRE FIGHTERS!!” 🚒🔥

We had our Fire Drill Practice with BOMBA 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒 We learned life-saving skills, emergency calls, fire safety, and how to stay safe during fire situations. Some little heroes even said: “I want to be a firefighter when I grow up!” 🦸‍♂️🔥 A yearly must-do safety drill that builds awareness, confidence, and courage in our children. Stay safe. Stay ready. Stay brave 💛

Fun Home is proud to have organised a 2-day Jolly Phonics training conducted by Mdm. Elaine Marcia Wong, Synthetic Phonics Trainer from Educational and Literacy Consultants. The training provided valuable insights into effective phonics instruction through engaging presentations, collaborative discussions, and practical teaching strategies. Our educators left the session equipped with renewed confidence and enhanced skills to support children’s literacy development.

🦷✨ Fun Home School Holiday Special: Dental Clinic Visit! 🪥

As part of our school holiday activities and learning the Mandarin word “牙” (tooth) 🦷, Fun Home children had an exciting visit to Lau Dental Clinic, Sri Petaling!

They:
- Learned the correct way to brush their teeth 🪥
- Explored “healthy” vs “unhealthy” foods through fun games 🍎🍭
- Took turns bravely for a dental check-up 👏

Plus, the children had a blast dressing up as dentists and role-playing, making it a super fun and meaningful learning experience! 💙
