We dare you to challenge yourselves by pushing your own limits in this race and have NO R-E-G-R-E-T-S!! :) 'The Race 2' is organized by a group of events management students (Batch BE 2) under the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts in Taylor's University. This group of students are currently pursuing their final year bachelor's degree in Events Management and are fully prepared to fa

ce the challenges ahead of them! SO HOW EXACTLY IS THE RACE 2 GOING TO TAKE PLACE? The Race 2 is similar to the television series “Amazing Race” by applying a concept of participants racing from checkpoint to another checkpoint for 3 days non consecutively at an area which includes places of culture, gastronomy and attraction sites in Klang Valley area. Therefore, almost the whole of The Race will be conducted off campus except for maybe one or two challenges. The participating teams will go through 2 elimination rounds with a series of physical and mentally challenging activities where the best team will win and proceed to the Semi Finals, to the Grand Finale. There must be 3 person in a team in so that they can each use their individual strengths to complete the tasks given. Different people have their own special abilities and teamwork is vital to make these abilities remarkable. The tasks are designed in such a way that each participant must PUSH THEIR LIMITS to win this competition. DATE

Preliminary Round: 9th of December 2012

Semi-Finals: 15th December 2012

The Race Finale: 16th December 2012

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

-This race is open to all O-Level, Form 5, Pre-U (A Levels, Matriculation, etc) and University College/University students.

-Must be 3 students per team.

-Registration must be done through the respective University. Teams are selected on a first come first served basis before the due date. WINNER PRIZES

Champion: RM3000 cash prize + other exciting prizes

1st Runner Up: RM1800 cash prize + other exciting prizes

2nd Runner Up: RM900 cash prize + other exciting prizes

The Race 2 has officially end! Thank you all for your support and participation in The Race 2. We (organizers) hope that all of you had a wonderful time during the race and apologizes for any miscommunications/misunderstandings caused in any way.

Also, CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners of the lucky draws and of course, the Champions, 1st Runner Ups & 2nd Runner Ups!

To those who did not win this time around, don't be unhappy. You are not losers, you are all WINNERS! All of you did a wonderful job back there with such strong determination and teamwork! :)

Dear Participants, please bring a camera or your smartphone for tomorrow's Day 3 Challenges. You will be required to use your phone or camera to take pictures. Please fully charge your batteries as we will need to see all pictures taken by you and your team at the Final Checkpoint. You will need your batteries to be fully charged, trust me! A camera will be much better. Thank You!
