[MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE]

‎ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with heartfelt sympathy and deep condolences that we would like to inform the news of the passing of our former rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Kamal bin Hassan this morning. Our deepest condolences go out to the family, may Allah grant them peace and comfort during this time of grief.

After the Dhuhur prayer today, SHAS Mosque will organise Solat Ghaib, and everyone is welcome to attend for the final send-off.

May Allah shower upon his soul by granting him eternal peace in Jannah. Ameen Ya Rabb Al-Ameen.

Isra' Mi'raj is dedicated for the day when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) travelled from Mecca to Jurusalem, and then to heaven. It is also the day when one of the pillars of Islam (صلاة) was bestowed upon us.

Let's honour this miraculous journey by engaging in the following acts of worship:

1. Perform Tahajjud prayer
2. Recite and reflect on Surah Al-Isra'
3. Engage in extra prayers
4. Give charity
