The JTF is a three week training programme for 24 top leaders of the teachers’ organisations in Asia held annually
From the inception in 1999 to 2015 the programme has been funded by a consortium consisting of the Canadian Teachers’ Federation, Australian Education Union, SNES of France, NEA of the USA, AEU of Australia and EI. So far in 13 JTF Programmes, 155 men and 131 women leaders from 82 organisations in 11 countries have been trained. This year the JTF programme was held in New Delhi, India for 4 state affiliated of AIPTF: Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Maharshtra and Haryana.
