51 students. One challenge. Plenty to celebrate. 🏅

We’re proud of our students who took part in the Kangaroo Math Competition 2026, putting their problem-solving skills, perseverance and mathematical thinking to the test.

This year, over 54% of our participants earned a recognition award, including 3 Silver Awards, 3 Bronze Awards and 22 Honorable Mentions.

A special congratulations to our Silver Award recipients:
🥈 Zhang Ziyu — Benjamin
🥈 Reika Shiga — Benjamin
🥈 Abdulrahman Hani Alqubati — Junior

The Benjamin category delivered an especially strong performance, earning 4 of Hibiscus International School’s 6 medal awards.

Most importantly, we celebrate all 51 students who stepped forward to challenge themselves and represent Hibiscus. Every participation is part of the learning journey, and every achievement is something to be proud of.

📚 Book of the Month Suggestion

All the Sunshine in the World by Caroline Brooks DuBois is a moving novel in verse that explores grief, family, friendship and the influence of technology on young people. Told through the experiences of 13-year-old Tolly, the book encourages meaningful reflection on healing, connection and navigating difficult emotions.

A thoughtful and relevant choice for our students’ Book of the Month.
