Finally, the January batch for Colored Brain Trainer Certification has graduated.
Congratulations to Joshua Navin, Cindy Sim, Sam Hee, Yang Chia Yin. All of you were incredible. You have gone through the grinding and fulfilled the criteria. You may complain and stressed out with the number of assignments to do. But I believe you earned the certification deservingly.
In addition to getting the Colored Brain Certificate, they also get special awards.

It’s a huge part of the Directive Communication Psychology journey. Our students are learning how to (some of the topics):
✅ Spot the "Being Right" trap before it starts a fight.
✅ Move from a problem-focused mindset to a solution-focused one through understanding the Reticular Activating System.
✅ Understand how our brains are wired to impose "rules" on others based on our Encoded Assumptions.

The most powerful realization? Once you recognize these patterns, you can finally overcome them. It’s been 4 days of "Aha!" moments and high energy for the students! 🚀

There are only about 60 plus more days to 2026. Are you ready to start afresh in a new year? We are planning ahead and are doing a new batch of Colored Brain Trainers Certification in January 2026.

Today is the festival of Deepavali or Diwali celebrated by Hindus. It means "row of light" and today marks the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil.

Wishing all those who celebrate "HAPPY DIWALI".

Another event that I was busy with in September. This is an in-house batch from Continental Tyres in Alor Setar where 6 people are certified as Colored Brain Trainers.

They spent 5 days in the journey and went through 40 hours with many additional midnight oil to get the assignments done. 😅 It was intensive but everything was paid off. The journey was designed with practical that they learned and internalized the content immediately. They can now decipher people's Colored Brain through the cards and by knowing the people. 😃

Some key takeaways that were mentioned:
- I learned how to see humans differently through understanding Colored Brain, how it helped me to be more positive and optimistic, to see things in different ways.
- I learned self-realization, it changed the way I think. It impacted my work and personal life. Change starts from ourselves.
- It has been an eye-opener. It changed my perspective on how to identify myself. Miscommunication happen at the workplace and personal life. The course broke my assumption on many things through understanding of different Colored Brain.
- It is an eye-opening course. The tools I learned are powerful and how to use it and apply at the workplace and personal life.
- I learned my Colored Brain and other people. I learned how relationship can be improved and how to work better effectively.

It has been a while since I last posted. September has been a busy month.

I completed one batch of Directive Communication Psychology (DC) Trainer Certification for 4 people on Sep 13. Congratulations to Chow, Ainnee Eunee, Nur Aishah Abdul Rahim and MOHD SAID ADNAN.

They are already Colored Brain certified, and they continued to complete the DC Psychology Certification. The journey covered the Psychology of Motivation based on 8 Emotional Drives – why do you do what you do, the Psychology of Engagement – how to engage your participants to learn better – a course for advance public speaking based on body postures, use of music, storytelling and how to do voice over music. At the end of the journey, it is transformative seeing how a person progressed from good to great in becoming a trainer.

Thank you to Sunnie Toh Hui Sung and Firdaus Johari for coming back to complete the Super Hero Identity module. Hope you find it enlightening and is of use in your training. Also thank you to Kny Wong for refreshing energizer and Hazadi for reconnecting after a long break away.

For your information, I only do this DC Psychology Trainer Certification once a year and the next one shall be next year. Looking to seeing more Colored Brain trainers to complete their DC Journey with us.

Colored Brain Trainers Certification Batch June 2025 (Part 2)
This batch graduated on July 13, 2025. They completed 40 hours of classroom plus many additional hours of study, practical, assignments, daily presentations, written test (yes, they did it) and a final presentation. It was an intensive journey.
This batch has high standard, and ALL passed in the first round of written test. Mind you, the passing mark is 80! Everything was done within the scope of 16 days. WELL DONE.
I am proud to be their mentor and coach in this journey. They hold the title as the Certified Colored Brain Trainer and are qualified to do Colored Brain training. Congratulations!

I completed the June batch of Colored Brain Trainers Certification (Part 1).
I have been doing this course over and over again and I can tell you that I am still learning. This batch is amazing. They are trainers who are relatively new to the L&D, one is still considering to join full time, another is in sabbatical and taking this opportunity to learn and explore new thing.

Since they are relatively new, they get ideas differently and their presentation gave me new perspective that I also learned from them. This is indeed a journey of life-long learning and there is always something fresh to the 'same old' thing.

I shall continue to Part 2 posting on the graduation of the students.

The class is open to alumni and anyone can come back to refresh. Thank you to those who came and shared your experiences.
