UCSI University has entered into a five-year Memorandum of Agreement with UNU Global Health, marking a significant step in advancing education, research and capacity building in science diplomacy, global health and sustainable development.

Signed during UNU Global Health’s 20th anniversary celebration, the agreement brings together UCSI’s International Institute for Science Diplomacy and Sustainability (IISDS) and UNU Global Health to strengthen collaboration in areas of mutual strategic importance.

The co-certification partnership programme will support UCSI’s Master in Science Diplomacy and Master of Science Policy and Communication programmes through academic contributions from UNU Global Health, joint training, postgraduate research supervision and opportunities for collaborative research and policy engagement.

Beyond programme delivery, the partnership creates new avenues for UCSI students, researchers and faculty to collaborate across disciplines and institutions on pressing global and regional challenges - including science policy, innovation, health, climate change and sustainable development.

UCSI looks forward to building on this partnership with UNU Global Health to develop evidence-informed leaders and deliver research with real-world impact.

UCSI University, through the Career Exposure Programme, is helping students bridge the gap between university and industry.

In collaboration with Moomoo Malaysia, our students worked on a real business case study focused on attracting young investors to the Moomoo store. Working in teams, they developed campaign ideas and received constructive feedback from industry professionals, giving them a taste of real-world marketing and fintech work.

Students also had the opportunity to engage with Moomoo Malaysia acting CEO Dennis Jee, gaining insights into careers in fintech, the soft skills valued in young talent and how they can better prepare themselves for the world of work.

Moomoo Malaysia’s HR team also conducted a CV and interview workshop, equipping students with practical tips on presenting themselves professionally and preparing for internships and future job applications.

Through partnerships like this, UCSI University continues to empower students with meaningful industry exposure, career-ready skills and the confidence to thrive in a fast-evolving world of work.

A big thank you to Moomoo Malaysia for partnering with us to create this valuable learning experience for our students.

✨ A Harmonious Achievement in Thailand! 🇹🇭🎶

The UCSI University Chamber Choir participated in the 3rd Thailand International Choral Festival, held from 3-7 August 2026. They totally ate and won:

🏆 Gold Award - Musica Sacra Category
🥈 Silver Award - Mixed Youth Category

This achievement is a fitting reward for the countless hours of rehearsals, the commitment of every chorister, and the unwavering support from everyone who has been part of our journey. ❤️

From UCSI to Thailand, we sang with one voice, one heart, and one spirit. 🎶✨ Our heartiest congratulations to the conductors, coaches, supporters, and most importantly, all choristers on their remarkable achievements.

The event highlighted creativity, technicality and teamwork; a testament to UCSI's commitment to empowering the next generation of AI and cybersecurity talent in line with Malaysia's national digital agenda.
