Selamat Hari Merdeka, Malaysia!

From all of us at KinderJoy BJ, and especially from our little Malaysians — Happy Independence Day! ❤️💛💙🤍

This Merdeka, our little ones celebrated Malaysia in the way that they know best - playing, exploring, creating and learning together!

They matched familiar Malaysian symbols and landmarks through puzzles, created their own “Jalur Gemilang” sand art jar, sorted stones according to our national colours, and even travelled from one Malaysian landmark to another on our One Malaysia Train!🚂🇲🇾

Behind all the fun were little learning opportunities — strengthening visual discrimination, memory and problem-solving, practising fine-motor skills, recognising colours and sequences, listening to instructions, coordinating movements and learning to move together as a group.

Because even during a celebration, there is always something meaningful for little minds to discover. 🌱

May our children grow up knowing the beauty of the country they call home, and continue creating many happy memories together as Malaysians.

KinderJoy BJ × Stellar Vision Optometry | Little Eye Care Adventure Part 2

First, we learned about our eyes. Next, we took that learning beyond the classroom! 🤓✨

Our little ones made their way to Stellar Vision for a real-life look at what happens inside an eyewear store.

From stepping into an actual eye examination room and seeing professional optometry equipment up close, to discovering rows of colourful children’s glasses, everything they had learned in class suddenly became something they could see and experience for themselves.

And of course, there was plenty of curiosity along the way! 👀

Experiences like this remind us that learning doesn’t always have to happen at a desk. Sometimes, the best way for children to understand something is simply to let them see it, experience it, and ask questions about it.

A big thank you to Stellar Vision for welcoming our little ones so warmly and patiently showing them around. 💛

👀 KinderJoy BJ × Stellar Vision Optometry | Little Eye Care Class

Healthy habits start young, and that includes learning how to care for our eyes. 💛

With screens and electronic devices becoming part of everyday life, children are being exposed to them earlier. That’s why we believe eye-care awareness is something worth introducing from a young age.

For our first Little Eye Care Class, we were happy to welcome the optometrists from Stellar Vision to KinderJoy!

Our little ones discovered what an optometrist does, learned simple ways to take care of their eyes, and explored eye-care knowledge through fun, child-friendly activities.

And of course, learning is always more meaningful when they get to experience it themselves! The children also had the opportunity to experience a basic eye screening and a fun vision-testing activity. 👀✨

A big thank you to Stellar Vision Optometry for making eye care approachable, interesting, and fun for our little ones.

One little lesson today, one healthy habit for the future. 🌱

*A Day in KinderJoy BJ☀️*

A little hello to our friends, and another day begins. 💛

We gather together, stand proudly for our national anthem, tidy and arrange our books, then settle into the classroom ready to learn.

But learning doesn’t stop in the classroom.

Our little ones move, stretch, and build their physical strength during gym time, before wrapping up their day with Taekwondo — developing coordination, discipline, confidence, and courage along the way. 🥋

These may look like simple everyday routines, but each one plays a part in helping our children grow.

Learning to greet others.
Learning responsibility.
Learning to focus.
Learning to move with confidence.
And learning to be a little more independent each day. 🌱

Just another day at KinderJoy, filled with many little moments of growth. ❤️

Kindness begins long before the visit. 💛

As we prepared for our trip to the old folks’ home, our little ones learnt that caring for others starts with thoughtful actions.

A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful parents for the generously donated daily essentials: biscuits, toothbrushes, rice, cooking oil, cleaning supplies, wet wipes, oats, Milo and many more. Your kindness helped make this meaningful experience possible.

More importantly, thank you for partnering with us in this valuable lesson. Thank you for showing our children that love and appreciation for the elderly are not just values we talk about — they are values we live out together. It is through these shared experiences that children learn empathy, gratitude, and the importance of caring for those who came before us.

Our children also poured their love into every handmade wish card, carefully creating something special to bring smiles to the residents.

At KinderJoy, we believe that character is nurtured through real experiences. Every act of giving, no matter how big or small, helps children grow into compassionate, grateful and caring individuals.

Because the greatest lessons are often learnt through kindness.

A day filled with smiles, songs and priceless lessons. ❤️

Our little ones had the wonderful opportunity to visit an old folks’ home, where they shared cheerful performances and personally handed over gifts and handmade cards they prepared with so much love.

Beyond the performances, this visit reminded our children on the importance of respecting and appreciating the elderly. They are the people who came before us, guiding, nurturing and paving the way for future generations.

Seeing the joyful smiles on the residents’ faces was truly the highlight of the day. We hope our small gestures brought warmth to their hearts, just as this meaningful experience has left a lasting impression on our young children.

Growing kind hearts is just as important as growing curious minds. 🌱

Thank you for your patience and love in creating such a beautiful stage, carefully choosing every costume, planning every detail, and guiding our little ones through weeks of practice. More importantly, thank you for nurturing their confidence, encouraging them to believe in themselves, and reminding them that it is okay to shine in their own unique way.

To all our wonderful parents, thank you for being there to cheer your children on. Your presence, applause, and unwavering support meant more than words can express. Seeing the pride in your eyes was one of the most precious moments of the day.
