🇩🇪 ✨ AiCH 2026 – Deutsch verbindet, Künstliche Intelligenz inspiriert!

Three days of German, creativity, cultural exchange, and new friendships! 💚

From 6–8 October 2026, 144 students and 31 German language teachers from 31 schools across 11 states came together at Residensi UTMKL, Kuala Lumpur, for AiCH 2026, the national German language camp.

Under the theme Deutsch verbindet, Künstliche Intelligenz inspiriert, participants explored new ways to learn and express themselves in German through creative videos, songs, and posters. The programme also featured a cultural night, the National German Language Quiz, and a Stammtisch with students from Deutsche Schule Kuala Lumpur. 🎬🎵🏆

AiCH stands for AI und ich — “AI and me”. The camp showed how AI can inspire new ideas and make language learning more creative, while reminding us that it is human creativity, collaboration, and the guidance of teachers that bring these ideas to life.

To ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, class delivery will continue to follow our haze policy, based on the official API reading published at 4:00 PM on the day before classes.

Two authors, two new literary projects, and an evening bringing together literature,
music and stories across cultures.

After touring Asia together in 2017 and 2019, Austrian author and slam poet Elias Hirschl and Taiwanese-Austrian author and musician Jimmy Brainless are returning to Asia with a stop in Kuala Lumpur!

The evening will feature selected readings from their latest works, conversations about language, identity, history and life between cultures, as well as live musical elements on keyboard by Jimmy Brainless.

📖Elias Hirschl will present his latest novel Schleifen, currently shortlisted for the 2026 German Book Prize.
📖Jimmy Brainless will introduce his Pfützen duology, which tells a family story
spanning generations between Taiwan and Austria.

The reading and performance will be followed by a moderated Q&A, giving you the
chance to join the conversation and engage directly with the artists.
