The Malaysian Ministry of Education welcomes comments and posts on the Study in Malaysia page ("page"). We do, however, need to have some rules and terms of use to ensure that discussions are relevant and respectful to others who visit, read and contribute to our page. By posting or commenting on the Study in Malaysia page you have agreed to the guidelines below
. All posts on our page are pre-moderated by staff before being published. We will not edit users’ posts, but only accept or refuse them. Comments on our page are open to all Facebook users and are not pre-moderated. The moderating of comments and posts on our page usually occurs during regular Malaysian business hours (9am to 5pm eastern standard time), Monday to Friday. Comments and posts published after hours, on the weekend or on public holidays are acted upon as early as possible. We will not display posts and will remove comments that are inappropriate, a copyright infringement, abusive, threatening, offensive, defamatory, libelous or obscene. Do not post material that may incite violence or hatred. We will not tolerate comments that humiliate others based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, mental or physical disability, or sexual orientation. Gratuitous abuse - of Malaysia, the Malaysian Ministry of Education, subjects of the story or other users - will not be accepted. Do not post anything relating to any ongoing or pending criminal trial anywhere in the world. Do not use our page for commercial purposes or spam. Comments and posts that advertise, promote or solicit any goods or services will not be accepted and we reserve the right to block and/or report any users for repeat spamming. Do not impersonate others in posts or comments, or post personal details – phone numbers, postal or email addresses – that could inadvertently put you or someone else at risk. You retain responsibility for your posts and comments and we reserve the right not to accede to requests to remove it. Discussions with every individual about why comments were removed or posts were not published are not always possible. Posts and comments by users on our page are not an indication of endorsement by Malaysian Education. External links on our page, such as Facebook ads, do not constitute official endorsement on behalf of Malaysian Education.
