Hye Everyone!!
We have been given 8 weeks to finish and submit the project to the judges including implement it at the 3 junction road.

During the 8 week process, we used the first two weeks for programming the internal part and the 2 last weeks for testing while the others time for making the external parts of this project.

For the internal part, we are using a pair Arduino Uno with Xbee which connected to a sensor and LED respectively.

For the external parts, it is consist of a pair of pole as the stand and a pair of casing for the sensor and LED.
We are using two ways for making the casing for the sensor and LED. We use bending for the LED and rivet for the sensor.

So here are some picture of us in the process of making the project successful as it is today..
ENJOY!!

THE PRELUDE SENSOR DETECTOR!!

Yup.. That is.. We are doing a sensor for our project and we are going to implement this sensor 3-junction road in UNIMAS.

WHY❓❓
This is because we found out that the drivers sight is being blocked by the sign board that being placed at the
right side of the driver from the minor route (from Students’ Pavillion). From the survey that we have conducted, they said the 3 junction is dangerous and it lowering their confidence level to exit the junction thus causes jam at the junction.

⚜THE CONCEPTS⚜
The main problem that is being focus in this project is related to the blind spots turn. This problem is one of the major problems faced by everyone in UNIMAS. T-junction road on the way to the UNIMAS Student Pavilion is considered as a blind spot turn because there is staff parking on the right
hand side of the junction which blocks the view of the incoming vehicle on the right-hand side.
To overcome this problem, we are planning to implement a sensor detection system for vehicle that coming from the right hand side of the driver from the Pavillion junction.
When a vehicle passes through the sensor, the sensor will detect the vehicle and will send information to the sensor receiver. From this, the sensor receiver will tell the system that there is a vehicle passing by the sensor. When the sensor receiver detects the vehicle, it will turn on the LED light that is being implement in front of the pavillion junction.

Stay tuned for the manufacturing process of this project.

WHAT IS SHELL SELAMAT SAMPAI VARSITY CHALLENGE (SSSVC)❓❓🤔

SSSVC is an initiative of Shell Company in order to achieve 'Zero Accident' by challenging all engineering students from 6 different universities to come up with one idea of how to reduce accident on the road.

Excited to know about what we going to do❓❓
Try guess it.
Here a clue : it is use at 3 junction road.

Stay tuned for the answer.☺
