UM Tzu Ching 马大慈青

冬至将至，团圆时刻又如期而至！上周二，马大慈青在丽桂妈妈的家里，举办了一年一度的冬至家聚，为忙于学业和工作的伙伴们提供了一个温暖的地方团聚。大家围在一起，在妈妈的悉心指导下揉搓汤圆，感受传统文化的温度与美好。汤圆下锅，热气腾腾中溢出满满的欢喜。

除了伙伴们亲手制作的汤圆，还有俐燕妈妈买的冰淇凌，伙伴们边吃边聊，欢声笑语萦绕耳畔。圆圆的汤圆承载着美好的祝福，赶走了生活里的疲惫与烦恼。马大慈青祝愿大家冬至快乐，幸福满满，圆圆满满！

Taking Action in Sustainable Developmental Goals! 5 students from Universiti Malaya are representing Tzu Chi Collegiate Youth Association Malaysia to participate in a pitching competition on innovative climate action solutions under Generation Hope Goals, which is a collaborative initiative by Save the Children (SC), the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Regional Collaboration Centre for Asia and the Pacific (UNFCCC RCC AP), Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, and ChildFund.

They will be joining an online pitching on 2nd November (Saturday). All the best!

Students from UM Tzu Ching joined the Public Universities Welcoming Party in Kepong Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall with fellow students from UKMB (KL Campus), UPM, UKM and UTM KL. Besides getting to know each other and experiencing refugee escape through a simulation, they also got to know more about Tzu Ching and Tzu Chi through explanation from Tzu Ching xuezhang and other Tzu Chings, gaining a lot.

Hopefully the students discover the values of life through this activity, besides doing well in their academics they could utilise their free time to contribute to society and make their university life more colourful.

马大慈青的同学们上个星期四（24/10）在甲洞静思堂与国大吉隆坡分校，博大，国大与理工大学吉隆坡校区的同学们参加了国立大专迎新会。大家互相认识彼此，体验了难民大逃亡的模拟，也从慈青学长，伙伴们的讲解与亲身分享中了解慈青与慈济，收获不少。

希望同学们经过这一次的活动发现生命的价值，除了把课业做好以外也把握时间参加为社会贡献的活动，让大学生活更精彩。

马大慈青感恩合十🙏🏻

上个月5月14日是佛诞节、母亲节、慈济日三节合一，马大的慈青一同到吉隆坡甲洞静思堂参与浴佛图腾。

图腾有上千人，场面十分壮观。大家整齐地跟队浴佛，洗净杂念，时时保持一颗清净的心。此外，慈青们也乘此机会与其他大专的慈青，学长姐和爸爸妈妈拍难得的合照。

马大慈青愿人心净化，社会祥和，天下无灾无难✨

On May 14th, the celebrations of Vesak Day, Mother's Day, and Tzu Chi Day coincided, and the Tzu Chi Youth from University of Malaya (UM) gathered at Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur to participate in the Ritual Bathing of the Buddha.

With thousands of participants, the scene was truly magnificent. Everyone followed the procession in an orderly manner, purify their minds and maintaining a pure heart throughout. The Tzu Chi Youth from UM also took this opportunity to happily take photos with Tzu Chi Youth from other universities, senior brothers and sisters, as well as their parents.

The Tzu Chi Youth from UM prayed for the purification of people's hearts, social harmony, and a world free from disasters and difficulties. ✨

来自马大与PJ 综合大专的慈青们在4月14日到吉隆坡甲洞静思堂相聚，一起参与共修。学姐们为大家准备了有趣烧脑的游戏来了解与他人相处时在沟通上会遇到的种种情况。无论是在筹备慈青活动或在学校进行作业讨论时，有效的沟通和圆融的待人处事技巧都非常重要，更不用说日后毕业踏入职场时。

遇到难题时，不同的人会扮演不同的角色。有人会选择主动站出来引领大家想和尝试各种解决方案。有人会选择相信领导者，遵从他的指示去不断尝试不同的方法，直到团队成功找到对的解决方案。有时领导者提出的方法行不通，我们千万不要气馁，而是要勇敢提出个人的意见和疑问，合心和气共同向着目标前进。

日后大家会在学业或职场上和形形色色的人相处，自然而然会有不一样的想法相互撞击。大家要切记 勇敢把心里的话说出来，待人处事时时圆融，必能达成团队共同的目标。

祝福慈青们日后与他人相处遇到沟通难题时可以迎刃而解。

静思语：好事，需要你、我、他共同来成就。所以，不要有你、我、他的成见。

On the 14th of April, Tzu Ching from University of Malaya and Integrated Varsities gathered at Jing Si Hall in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur for a group training session. The seniors prepared interesting and thought-provoking games for everyone to understand the various communication challenges encountered when interacting with others. Effective communication and harmonious interpersonal skills are crucial when preparing for Tzu Ching activities or discussing school assignments, let alone when entering the workforce after graduation.

When faced with difficulties, different people will play different roles. Some will choose to take the initiative to lead the team and try various solutions. Some will choose to trust the leader and follow their instructions to continuously try different methods until the team successfully finds the right solution. Sometimes, the methods proposed by the leader may not work, but we should not be discouraged. Instead, we should bravely express our own opinions and questions and work together harmoniously towards the goal.

In the future, everyone will interact with different types of people in their academic or professional lives. Naturally, there will be different ideas colliding with each other. We must remember to courageously express what is in our hearts and treat others with harmony and sincerity to achieve the common goals of the team.

We wish Tzu Ching all the best in future communication challenges.

9/4/23 UKMB+PJ综合 大专生《青春翱翔，从❤️启航》迎新茶会 UKMB and PJ Integrated Varsities Tzu Ching Welcoming Party

On April 9th, Tzu Ching from University of Malaya joined UKMB Tzu Ching's welcoming party!

Early in the morning, the Tzu Ching went to Sungai Buloh Leprosy Centre to show care and bring joy to the leprosy patients, making them smile. Afterwards, they went to Setapak Tzu Chi Community Centre to participate in UKMB Tzu Ching's welcoming party and get to know Tzu Ching big family, breaking the ice and learning about upcoming Tzu Chi and Tzu Ching activities.

Surely, the Tzu Ching were moved by their efforts at the leprosy centre and planted the seeds of kindness in their hearts, wanting to help more people in need. Hearing about UKMB Tzu Ching's activities and the sharing of senior's experiences as Tzu Ching volunteers during their university days, everyone was inspired and eagerly recorded the dates and times of upcoming activities.

Jing Si Aphorism: If we don’t do something meaningful, our life will pass by in vain. But if we work unceasingly for the betterment of mankind,, ours will be a beautiful life.

慈青们一早就到Sungai Buloh麻风病院送爱，为麻风病患者们进行关怀，为他们带来快乐，让他们的脸上添上笑容。之后，慈青们便到Setapak慈济共修处参与UKMB慈青的迎新会，与各位懿德爸爸妈妈，学长姐和慈青伙伴们破冰，认识慈青和了解接下来的慈济和慈青活动。

想必慈青们在麻风病院付出的过程有感动， 在心田种下了善的种子，想要帮助更多需要帮助的人。听到UKMB慈青所介绍的活动和学长姐还在大学念书时成为慈青后的分享，大家也有所启发，兴致勃勃地记录下一个活动的日期与时间。

静思语：什么都没做，就是空过的人生；若能不断付出利益人群，就是大好的人生。

难民家访 Refugee Home Visit

Recently, two UM Tzu Ching members from UM, Zen Ye and Nadia paid a visit to a refugee family residing in Selayang in the company of two Tzu Chi volunteers. The home visit was done in collaboration with UNHCR to assess the family’s economic status so that aid can be better channeled to them if necessary.

As the refugees described their traumatic experiences of fleeing their home to escape persecution and how much they miss their homeland, Tzu Ching members felt that they should not take the happiness they are enjoying now as granted and it was indeed a blessing that they were born in a peaceful country like Malaysia.

Realizing the existence of this marginalized group in the country, who are deprived of many rights due to stateless status, Tzu Ching members pledged to help them whenever opportunities arise.

与联合国难民署合作，来自马大的两位慈青在懿德爸爸和学长的陪同下到士拉央对一户罗兴亚难民进行家访，以评估其经济状况，好让该机构能够更针对性地提供援助。

听着难民诉说着他们为了逃离迫害而背井离乡的遭遇，以及他们对故乡的思念，慈青伙伴不禁感慨到：可以生长在这一片长治久安，繁荣昌盛的土地上，我们是幸运的！

这次的家访，不仅让伙伴更加感恩惜福，不把所享受的幸福当作理所当然，也让他们日后更加关注弱势群体，尽自己的一份棉薄之力为他们献出一份真挚的爱心!
