I've always been drawn to the intricacies of child psychology, especially when it comes to learning disabilities. Meeting Ku Da, Tunku Rafidah Mustapha, the brilliant mind behind "Rays of Hopes," at the recent MCKK class of 63 luncheon was a dream come true.
Her kind gesture of personally inscribing the book with my name made it an unforgettable moment.

This book serves as a reference for parents of children with neurological impairments or cognitive disabilities.

Each time at the hospital registration counter.
Counter staff (CS): Puan pesara kerajaan?
Me (M): ..bukan...
CS: Anak puan bekerja kerajaan? Boleh beri no. IC dia?
M: 96××××-10-××××
CS: Oh.. anak puan MO di ×××× ya?
M: (senyum)
It has been a labour of love and sacrifice to support her through studies.
I am filled with satisfaction that she is now on the path to serving others as a healthcare professional.
May Allah bless her journey and guide her to be HIS compassionate and skilled servant who brings benefit to those in need. Aamiin.

The concept of owning problems is to be clear who the problem belongs to, so, it will help us to take appropriate action.
We may, for example, sit around convinced that it is up to the other people to do something, or assume responsibility for other people's problems.

Re-writing life script
According to cognitive psychology, everyone has life script, which they follow consciously or subconsciously.
As we grow older, it is wise to take a closer look at our script life and identify a few for revision and analysis.
Some are:
▪︎ I can't function on my own
▪︎ I don't deserve my good luck
▪︎ I have no real skills
▪︎ I'm never myself. I only pretend.
We need to rip up a limiting script and start living more in the moment.
