In this festive week, our school united to celebrate Deepavali. Students and teachers embraced the spirit of the Festival of Lights with lively activities and performances, not forgetting good food and workshops. One Nation, One Vision, One Identity. No nation is perfect, it has to be made so. To educate the younger generations on how our country has come to this far, Valley International School CBSE and CAIE students celebrated Malaysia Independence and Hari Malaysia Day. This is to showcase how the people in Malaysia with different cultural backgrounds can unite together as one and help each other regardless of their race.

Our students recently participated in Hindi Diwas Celebration on Thursday, 14th September,2023 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, by the Indian High Commission, Malaysia.

Hindi Diwas is also known as Hindi Day which is celebrated on September 14 every year to commemorate the adoption of Hindi in the Devanagari script as one of the official languages of the nation.

Our upper primary and secondary students actively participated in Essay writing competition and dance performance.

Ameena Safeera from Year 8 and Anvi Srivastava from Year 5 secured First and Second place in Essay Competition respectively. It was a splendid dance performance by our VIS students. It was an awesome and spectacular day.

Our VIS teachers and staffs participated in our Team Building Program to experiment with how fun and motivational activities can be inspirational for developing a sense of belonging and an atmosphere of community, tolerance, and team spirit, and for the improvement of communication skills. This team building also created a climate of cooperation and contributed to collaborative problem-solving, develop empathy and trust in the group, enhance creativity, and boost self-esteem.
