Code It Yourself Club is an after-school, weekend and holiday club where school aged kids can come together and learn to be creators of technology.

CIY.Club - a program designed by ScopeIT Education Australia, where children (aged 7-15) train to be creators of technology by learning how to 'code it themselves', write their own games, software, websites & apps! CIY.Club came into fruition from the growing amount of time that our young people spend on digital devices. Catering to school aged children of all experience levels, CIY.Club teaches k

Giving a child a laptop is just the first step. Giving them a mentor is what truly changes the game. 🚀

At CIY.Club, we believe that while technology is the tool, mentorship is the spark. We don’t just teach kids how to use software; we guide them to think critically, solve complex problems, and become the innovators of tomorrow.

Because tools build structures, but guidance builds thinkers. 💡

If AI writes code, is coding still crucial for kids to learn? 01/03/2026

Don’t just let your child talk to AI. 🤖 Let them command it. 💻✨

In today’s AI world, kids who learn coding don’t just consume technology — they understand it, control it, and confidently create with it. 🚀

Give them the skills to lead, not just follow.

If AI writes code, is coding still crucial for kids to learn? Monica McGill, CEO of the Institute for Advancing Computing Education, supports early training in programming and data science because “it basically touches everybody’s work.”

Ever wondered how your favorite games and apps actually work?

It’s all thanks to coding!

Coding is simply the language we use to give instructions to computers. From building websites to moving robots, the possibilities are endless🚀

To most kids today, this 💾 is just the "Save Icon."

To parents, it’s a Floppy Disk!

It is incredible to think that a standard 1.44MB disk from the 90s couldn’t even hold one high-resolution photo from a modern smartphone. Today, we have MicroSD cards the size of a fingernail that can hold 1,000,000 times more data. 📉🚀

Seeing how fast technology evolves is exactly why we focus on teaching kids at CIY.Club to be adaptable. The tools will change, but the logic they learn here lasts a lifetime. 🧠💻

Disney Imagineering developed a robotic stunt figure called Stuntronics 🤖. It is designed to perform acrobatic moves like flips, tucks, twists, and mid air pose changes using onboard sensors and control systems.

The robot flies with high precision and executes complex aerial motions that closely resemble real stunt work.

The result is Spider Man appearing in Avengers Campus, flying above guests with gravity defying moves never before seen in a Disney park.

It’s a clear example of how robotics is expanding into live entertainment and theme parks.

The logic our coders learn at CIY.Club stays with them in the classroom and beyond. Whether they are tackling Math, Science, or Art, they have the thinking skills to succeed!

Good luck to all our students starting their 2026 school journey. You’ve got this! 🚀💻
