以 Station 1:Eco Builders(家庭建造挑战)为例:
- Station 4 (Sushi Snack Shack):
- Station 8 (Waste to Wow):
This year’s Family Day 2026 is very different from the usual funfair-style events. Instead of simple game stations where participants just queue and play, we have specially designed a “project-based mission” experience. Each station is no longer just about playing a game, but requires the whole family to work together to complete a hands-on project.
This approach transforms children from passive participants into active creators. Every stamp they earn represents a project they have personally completed or a challenge they have successfully achieved.
Take Station 1: Eco Builders (Family Building Challenge) as an example.
Why is it engaging?
This is not just about playing with blocks, but a real-life simulation of being a “young architect.” Families will use recycled materials such as cardboard and plastic bottles to design and build an eco-friendly structure together. Through this process, children begin to see that what they once considered “waste” can be transformed into creative structures like houses or even solar panels. The sense of accomplishment from creating something from nothing is extremely powerful.
What do children learn?
Eco-Awareness: They experience firsthand the value of recycling and understand the importance of sustainable living.
Problem Solving: They learn to think critically about how to make structures stable and how to use different materials effectively in their designs.
Teamwork: Children collaborate with their parents, assigning roles such as cutting, assembling, and designing, learning how to communicate and work as a team.
Other exciting highlights from the
stations:
Station 4: Sushi Snack Shack
Children will complete a no-fire cooking project, learning food pairing, patience, and hands-on food preparation skills.
Station 8: Waste to Wow
A creative transformation project that enhances children’s aesthetic sense and fine motor skills.
This “one station, one project” concept elevates Family Day from a simple play event into a meaningful, interactive experience filled with learning and family bonding.
