Instead of performing this ABRSM Grade 2 piece as a solo, these two Grade 2 piano students took on the challenge of playing together as a duet! 🎵

Playing in perfect rhythm with another pianist requires excellent listening skills, steady timing, teamwork, and confidence. They did a fantastic job staying together from beginning to end!

At Masters Touch Conservatory of Music, we love finding creative ways to make learning piano more engaging while developing strong musicianship.

Grade 7 Rockschool piano Exam piece.

I searched YouTube. I searched everywhere. Nothing.

So here it is — what I believe is the world's first recording of La Puerta Abierta, Grade 7 Rockschool piano.

This piece is part of the brand new Rockschool 2025 syllabus — fresh repertoire, higher standards, and this Latin gem is one of its standout choices.

This Latin piece is no joke. Fiery rhythms, demanding syncopations, and a musical depth that takes real work to unlock. I've been living with this piece for weeks and I'm finally ready to share it.

I'm Collin, founder of Masters Touch Conservatory of Music. I still play. I still practise. I still get nervous before hitting record. 😄

Because if I'm going to ask my students to push their limits — I should be doing the same. 🎶

We are incredibly proud to share this extraordinary performance by our student, Kaho Karuda, performing *Passion Continent* by Taro Hakaise — accompanied by a stunning 5-piece live band! 🎶🎷🥁

This is one of the most highly advanced piano pieces in the repertoire, and watching Kaho perform it with such confidence and musicality is a testament to years of dedication and hard work.
