upcoming student activities deadlines as below:-
November 15: Scholarships
ASHRAE seeks to motivate students and prospective students worldwide to pursue an engineering or technology career in the HVAC&R field. Applications are now being accepted for the Society’s Undergraduate Engineering, Engineering Technology, Regional/Chapter, and University-specific Scholarships. The scholarships range in value from $3,000 to $10,000.
December 15: Undergraduate Program Equipment Grants
Provides funding to engineering, technical and architectural schools worldwide with the goal of increasing student knowledge, learning and awareness of the HVAC&R industry through the design and construction of equipment. Grants are up to $5,000 and are used to fund equipment and supplies for senior projects and 2-year technical school projects that focus on ASHRAE-related topics. Grants may cover projects lasting from one academic term up to one year. There are bonus points available for applications submitted before November 15th!
December 31: Washington Internship For Students Of Engineering (WISE)
From 12 to 15 outstanding engineering students entering their final year of undergraduate study are selected each year in a nation-wide competition to spend ten weeks in the summer in Washington, D.C. During the internship they learn how government officials make decisions on complex technological issues and how engineers can contribute to legislative and regulatory public policy decisions. The ASHRAE Washington Office hosts an outstanding engineering student every summer through this program.
Registration is also open for the 2019 ASHRAE Winter Conference, the 2019 Design Competition, and the 2019 Setty Family Foundation Applied Engineering Challenge.
