Sometimes, growth begins simply by stepping onto the field.

Imanina Zahra took part in the International Touch Rugby Tournament - Selangor Touch Fiesta 2026, held on 15-16 August at Hevea Arena, competing in the Girls U12 category with AFTA Team No. 14.

For Zahra, the tournament was another opportunity to experience competitive touch rugby, play alongside her teammates, and challenge herself in a new sporting environment.

At Sri Aria School, we believe meaningful learning happens in many places.. including on the field, where students learn to communicate, adapt, work with others, and discover more about themselves.

A special thank you to Zahra's parents for supporting her journey and encouraging her to explore opportunities beyond the classroom.

What happens when parents and school work towards the same vision for a child?

At Sri Aria School, we believe the development of a child doesn't stop at the classroom door.

On 15 August 2026, our Bandar Sri Damansara parents came together for a meaningful session on “Managing Anak-Anak Gen Alpha by Understanding Our Parenting Style.”

Because raising today’s children comes with a very different landscape: more access, more choices, more information, and more convenience.

Our children grow when parents and school understand the direction we're working towards together.. not by parenting exactly the same way, but by building a shared understanding of what we want for the child.

Because we are not simply preparing children for results.

We are supporting the whole human child.

And that means creating spaces for parents and school to pause, reflect, communicate and grow together.

The plant grew. So did the learning.

What might look like a simple repotting activity involved many small acts of learning.

The students had to observe their plants, understand that growing roots need more space, carefully transfer them into their new pots, and consider how to care for them afterwards.

Each step created an opportunity to notice, question, make decisions and learn from experience.

At Sri Aria School, this is what we value about Self-Directed Learning: creating space for children to engage with the world around them, take ownership of their learning and make connections between what they discover and what they already know.

Because when learning is experienced firsthand, knowledge becomes something children can see, touch, question and understand.

We don't just want children to know that living things grow. We want them to experience what growth requires.

At the R5/2026 KRD Funkart Karting Competition at RUD Karting Sepang, Putri Tihani Auliya finished 4th Place in the Funkart Junior category, competing against 13 drivers.

Beyond the result, every race brings valuable experience.. learning to stay focused, manage pressure, make decisions on track, and keep pushing through every challenge.

Every race brings another opportunity to sharpen focus, strengthen discipline, make decisions under pressure, and learn from the experience.
