Who would have thought that colourful paper strips could be transformed into beautiful handcrafted bags and baskets?
That’s exactly what our CBN alumni discovered last Saturday as they came together to learn the art of paper weaving. It was a day filled with creativity, laughter, learning, and reminiscing conversations. More than just making something beautiful, it was an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, meet new friends, and simply enjoy creating together.
A heartfelt thank you to our former CBN Alumni President, Ms Marina Yong, and our Treasurer, Ms Karen Wong, for so generously sharing their skills, weaving techniques, and little tips that made the workshop both enjoyable and rewarding. Their patience and encouragement made all the difference.
Workshops like these are only possible because of your support. After covering the cost of materials, the remaining proceeds will be channelled back to the CBN Alumni to support future alumni and school initiatives.
We hope to see even more alumni at our upcoming activities. Every participant helps keep our alumni community connected while giving back to our beloved Alma Mater. Together, we learn, reconnect, and contribute. 💙
