[IIUM MEDICAL CENTRE]

Went to visit IIUM teaching hospital which will be open soon.

I cannot move on with the beauty of it.

The hospital is a 9 floor (11 actually if you count the LG and G floor).
It is a syariah compliance hospital, and all the patient bed face the kiblat so the patient won't have to get up to pray.

Every specialty has it's own operating theatre.
Cardio, pediatric, O&G etc has their own OT!! We also got MRI , CT, fluoroscopy and bone densitometer (something??? I forgot the name). The playground for children are on the roof top, and has human-grown grass for protection.

We also gonna have rooftop cafe which is gonna be awesome.

The pediatric wards also have parent's bed beside the pediatric patients bed so the parents can sleep right next to their child.

It also uses natural ventilation system and lots of mirror glass wall for lights to come through.

At the top gloor which is the ninth floor, we can see the whole Kuantan city !! Super!! The ward is colour coded according to department, for example, orthopedic department color code is purple.

The operating theatre are coloured blue so it will be soothing to patients eyes.

We also have seminar room at each floor for students to have class/lecture.

We also have examination wards, just special for examination in clinical year and there's a quarantine cafe as well!

There are auditorium (in the picture) for lecture.

We also provide kitchen for diet students to practice cooking.

Did I mention there are escalators as well?? Super awesome!

There's too much to share. Wait and see. :)
