23 April 2026 | National Roundtable Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence for Disaster Risk Reduction telah diadakan di Grand Petra, UTM Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur.

Program anjuran National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), Jabatan Perdana Menteri Malaysia dengan kerjasama Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Centre (DPPC), Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia ini telah menghimpunkan pemegang taruh utama bagi membincangkan keperluan, cabaran serta hala tuju strategik integrasi Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence, AI) dalam pengurusan risiko bencana di Malaysia.

Dialog meja bulat ini telah melibatkan penyertaan daripada agensi pengurusan bencana, pembuat dasar, institusi akademik, penyedia teknologi serta rakan strategik melalui sesi perbincangan kumpulan berfokus (Focus Group Discussion) yang merangkumi pelbagai tema termasuk perkongsian pengetahuan, amalan terbaik, cabaran pelaksanaan, inovasi, pengesahan kerangka kerja serta cadangan dasar.

Turut hadir ialah Yang Berhormat Dato’ Indera Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah, Timbalan Menteri Ekonomi; Yang Berusaha Tuan Ahmad Rajiun bin Abu Bakar, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Dasar), National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA); Yang Berusaha Professor Technologist Dr. Ali bin Selamat, Timbalan Naib Canselor (Hal Ehwal Pelajar & Alumni), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; serta Yang Berusaha Associate Professor Engineer Technologist Dr. Nurulakmar binti Abu Husain, Dekan, Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
