Keeping in mind the needs of the major ethnic

race in this country, the Management of Smart Reader® Worldwide feels their efforts have finally paid off. Elated to be conferred this distinctive award, the joy was shared by the royal patron, DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and the Honorary Advisor, Datuk Abu Hasan Din Al-Hafiz, of the Smart Reader Kids Islamic® programme. The Smart Reader Kids Islamic™ curriculum offers the comprehensive Smart Tadris® syllabus for Muslim children from as young as three years old. The syllabus, which comprises Islamic subjects such as Iqra’,Al-Quran, Ibadah, Aqidah, Akhlak, Jawi and Arabic, was developed by experienced Al-Quran and Sunnah experts from Masjid Negara, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia in accordance with the National Education Philosophy, Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan (KPSK), Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR), J-QAF and JAKIM. Just like the Smart Reader Kids® curriculum, the Smart Reader Kids Islamic® programme is based on the Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology™, which has received worldwide recognition and accolades from various bodies and organisations that have attested to the excellence of its programmes. Parents affirm the remarkable progress that children make within a few months of being exposed to the programmes.

“Our programme teaches young children the meaningful foundation of Islam and understanding of the Quran. The strong Islamic foundation built enables the children to progress smoothly to Primary 1. The standard of the Islamic Education subject is quite high especially for religious schools but our students have no difficulty following the lessons,” said Puan Marlya Binti Ayub, franchisee of Smart Reader Kids® Seksyen 3, Seksyen 9 and Denai Alam, Shah Alam. During the fasting month of Ramadhan in June and July this year, children from various Smart Reader Kids Islamic® centres throughout the nation were invited to perform during the Ifthar Ramadhan activities during the breaking of fast at leading hotels nationwide.

“Apart from applying creative and innovative teaching methods to help students learn about Islam in a fun and engaging manner, the curriculum of the Smart Reader Kids Islamic® programme also aims to foster the development of good behaviour and high moral standards,” said Alias bin Ayob, franchisee of Smart Reader Kids® Kangar and Smart Reader Kids® Arau, Perlis. Parents, who enrol their children in Smart Reader Kids® Islamic, have expressed that they are very happy with the syllabus as the English Language is also given due importance.
