This week marks 15 years since we first opened our doors, and we’re celebrating 15 years of learning, growing and belonging at The International School @ ParkCity.

Since welcoming 131 students when we opened our doors on 7 September 2011, ISP has grown into a thriving international school community in the heart of Desa ParkCity. Our founding Principal, Andrew Dalton, who remains part of the ISP family today as Group Director of Education, has been a constant presence throughout this remarkable journey. While our school has evolved considerably over the past 15 years, what has remained constant is our commitment to providing an outstanding education and putting our students at the heart of everything we do.

Throughout our anniversary year, we’ll be celebrating the people, memories, achievements and moments that have shaped our ISP story, while looking ahead to an exciting future.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey.

The start of a new academic year and starting a new school is often the result of months of invisible work and nervous excitement and anticipation for parents and families - navigating new schools, new homes, new countries, new jobs and everything that comes with a fresh start.

Now that our students are settling into school life, it was wonderful to welcome our new parents to their own ISP Induction, alongside members of our PTA and existing parent community who were there to help make them feel at home.

It was a lovely morning full of positive energy, as we talked about some of the exciting things to look forward to this year, shared top tips for navigating life at ISP, and introduced our newly re-launched ISP Parent Community groups - giving parents the opportunity to find shared passions and interests, make new connections and get involved in our wider community.

We also shared a little more about life in Malaysia and the things that can help make settling into a new country feel that little bit easier.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so warm and welcoming. It is always a priority for us that our students feel a strong sense of belonging, and we are equally passionate about ensuring that our parent community feels that same sense of belonging too.

We’re delighted to celebrate our recent cohort of students following the release of this year’s IGCSE results. These results, achieved across such a broad range of subjects, reflect not only our students’ academic achievements, but also the commitment, resilience and determination they have demonstrated throughout their studies.

A huge congratulations to all our students, and to the teachers, families and wider ISP community who have supported them along the way.

The first two weeks of term have been full of energy, excitement and plenty of smiling faces!
From busy classrooms and corridors to new friendships, familiar faces and plenty happening across campus, the new academic year is already off to a fantastic start.

There is such a special energy at ISP, and it has been wonderful to welcome our students, staff and parents back to school and see our community come together once again.

Of course, it has been especially lovely to welcome our new families to ISP and see them begin to settle into school life, make new connections and become part of our community.

Following on from our fantastic A-Level results, we are equally delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 12 students, who recently received their AS Level results.

Congratulations to all of our students on their hard work and achievements. These results provide a strong foundation as they now move into their final year at ISP, and we look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish in the year ahead.

With our A-Level results now in, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our Class of 2026. Their hard work, determination and resilience have resulted in some fantastic outcomes across a wide range of subjects.

On average, our students achieved grades 0.53 higher than those predicted based on their CAT4 assessments. This value-added measure demonstrates the significant progress our students make and reflects the impact of the high-quality teaching, personalised support and encouragement they receive throughout their learning journey at ISP.

Our results are a moment for our entire ISP community to celebrate. Every member of staff who has supported these students along their journey - whether they first taught them in EYC or have guided the students through Sixth Form - can take great pride in the part they have played in helping them reach this milestone.

As our students take their next steps beyond ISP, university offers and placements are continuing to come in - and we look forward to sharing where their exciting journeys will take them very soon.
