PERKESIM - Persatuan Kesenian Muzik Dan Tarian Klasik India Malaysia PERKESIM was formed to support & coordinate with all the Art & Culture Academies to promote 1Malaysia concept activities in Government sponsored programs.

The objective of establishing PERKESIM is to enhance and increase the quality and standard of the Indian Malaysian Music School and Classical Dance in Malaysia. This effort has to be given paramount importance as the current and budding artist in Malaysia lacks knowledge, discipline and does not get the attention of the local media. This situation has to arrested and changed by giving a new dimension training and intensified courses according to the current modules. The course will be conducted in collaboration with approved and certified Music and Dance Schools from India. New and enhanced study and practical modules will be inducted and ingrained after consultation and approval from the local government and the approved Indian institution. PERKESIM have also established a friendly co-operation and memorandum of understanding with Indian Music and Dance Schools from India to obtain the status of a private higher learning college in Malaysia. Nevertheless, PERKESIM are dedicated to providing quality services to meet the economic, education and social needs of our Malaysian community.
