40 Laptops, 40 Opportunities to Dream Bigger

Education opens doors, and access to technology helps young people walk through them.

In our continued efforts to bridge the digital divide, Budimas donated 40 laptops to deserving students from two institutions of higher learning.

A total of 20 laptops were presented to students from Universiti Geomatika Malaysia (UGM), while another 20 were distributed to students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT).

Our Principal Officer, Ms Anne Rajasaikaran, attended the presentation ceremony, reaffirming Budimas commitment to supporting education and empowering young people with the tools they need to succeed.

For these 40 students, a laptop is more than a device. It is a gateway to knowledge, greater independence and new possibilities for the future.
At Budimas, we believe that when we invest in education, we invest in brighter futures.

Every child deserves to feel valued, supported and included.

Budimas recently returned to Langkawi, bringing smiles and joy through a donation of toys to children with disabilities at Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Langkawi. More than just gifts, these toys represent our commitment to making every child feel remembered and cared for.

Our visit also took us to a school supported under the Budimas Food Charity Fund, where we continue to provide nutritious meals to help children begin their school day ready to learn.

Joining us was our Principal Officer, Ms Anne Rajasaikaran, who spent time listening to the children's stories and gaining a deeper understanding of their needs.

At Budimas, we believe that meaningful change begins with listening, understanding and responding with compassion.

Because every child matters, and every act of kindness counts.

Today marks the final day of Projek Impianmu 2026, concluding our journey at the Budimas Library in Kampung Orang Asli Gapam, Jasin, Melaka.

This year, Projek Impianmu has reached more than 500 Orang Asli children through 12 Budimas Children’s Libraries across Selangor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang.

More than simply introducing children to books, the programme has encouraged them to understand the importance of education while opening their eyes to different career opportunities and possibilities for their future.

As we bring Projek Impianmu 2026 to a close, we hope one message stays with every child we have met: your dreams matter, and your future is full of possibilities.

The programme may have ended for this year, but we hope the dreams it inspired are only beginning. ❤️

Every visit gives us an opportunity to listen, understand and connect.

Through the Budimas Home Charity Fund, our team recently visited Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Langkawi and Langkawi Autism Care Centre, spending meaningful time with the children and learning more about their everyday needs and experiences.

Our Principal Officer, Ms Anne Rajasaikaran, joined the visit, taking time to meet the children and better understand the real-life situations faced by the centres and the families they support.

Budimas was also pleased to provide donations towards their needs, but just as importantly, the visit gave us the opportunity to get to know the children a little better.

Sometimes, making a difference begins simply by showing up, listening and letting someone know that they are seen and cared for. ❤️

Every little heart carries a dream.

A dream to grow up, to go to school, to play with friends, to laugh, to learn and one day become everything they hope to be. But for some children, a healthy heart and good health cannot always be taken for granted.

Through the Budimas Children Medical Care Fund, we help underprivileged children receive the medical care they need, while giving their families hope and support during some of their most difficult moments.

On World Heart Day, let us spare a thought for the little hearts that need a little more care.

Because every heartbeat is precious, and behind every little heart is a future waiting to unfold.

Projek Impianmu continued its journey at the Budimas Library in Kampung Orang Bukit Payung, Alor Gajah, Melaka, where the children spent a meaningful day learning, playing and dreaming about the possibilities ahead.

Through the programme, they were encouraged to understand the importance of education and to explore future career choices based on their own interests and strengths.

Learning was balanced with plenty of fun! The children also enjoyed indoor games that encouraged teamwork, friendship and plenty of laughter.

Through Projek Impianmu, we hope to remind every child that their dreams matter, and that with education, encouragement and the right opportunities, those dreams can take them further than they imagine.

Learning and growing can happen through play too.

Our Budimas Library Activities at Kampung Orang Asli Chinta Manis, Pahang and Kampung Orang Asli Guntur, Negeri Sembilan brought the children together for a fun-filled day of games and laughter.

From a treasure hunt and finding candies hidden in flour to an exciting game of dodgeball, the children had a wonderful time playing and interacting with one another.

It was lovely to see their smiles, hear their laughter and watch friendships grow through simple moments of fun.
