𝗔𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝘁 🐜 made a charming appearance in 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 and greeted the toddlers warmly. The 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. From practising the /a/ sound to tasting a juicy apple because A is for apple, learning was filled with fun, discovery, and excitement.

The experience was further enriched through specially curated art and craft activities, with children and their accompanying adults learning and creating side by side. Experience PlayClub, Julia Gabriel’s 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗱 early learning programme designed for young children between 18 months and 3 years old in our week day classes.

There is something especially magical ✨ about 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 — when the air is cool, quiet, and still carrying the scent of morning dew.

So off we went before our break, with our Nursery One preschoolers to 🌱, our school garden, to repopulate one of our planter boxes with vegetable seedlings lovingly grown in class as an 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. From loosening the soil and clearing weeds to carefully transplanting each tiny seedling into its new home, every little hand played a part in bringing our garden back to life.

No guarantees of green-thumb success just yet, but we are holding onto hope and keeping our fingers crossed for a flourishing harvest! We will certainly keep you updated on our little gardening adventure at Sprouting Seeds.

In the meantime, we also had the chance 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 🫚 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 for cooking — homegrown, lovingly cared for, and proudly nurtured by our school community.

What a whole lot of fun it was weaving in and out of the book aisles at ’ pop-up roadshow at IOI Mall Damansara in search of Monkey’s mommy! 🙈

Julia Donaldson’s heartwarming 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲 sprang to life through the vision of Julia Gabriel’s Head of Enrichment Programmes, Shoby, and her team of specialist educators, who brought along a lively line-up of interactive music and movement activities to get the crowd warmed up. Following the storytelling session, the children joined Shoby and Monkey on an 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘆 — meeting all sorts of animals along the way before finally reuniting with her.

A fittingly sweet ending to our 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆-𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, and yet another memorable collaboration with our ever-wonderful partners at BookXcess. We are immensely grateful to all the families who spent their Sunday afternoon with us. Until our next adventure together! 👋🏻

☀️The joys of 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆!

Working with the texture of goop was a whole different level of fun. Neither quite liquid nor solid, yet oh-so-satisfying slipping through little fingers — and our 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 were completely fascinated by it.

Throw sago play into the mix, and we had ourselves a full-on sensorial explosion! 😆 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙥, 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙥, 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙝, 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙝, 𝙨𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙝 them into tiny fists… oh, the delight of sago play! Messy hands, curious minds, and endless wonder all around.

𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! 🌙

We painted fireworks in the night using straws and made our own night mobile during 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁’𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 early learning programme. Every week, different concepts are introduced in line with the term’s theme; and this term, we’re learning about 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙨! Together with parents as our partners in class, our adult accompanied enrichment programmes explore learning with the concepts of colours, numbers and letters with our toddlers.
