The NextWave Gallery – Interior Design Presentation & Award was successfully held, featuring live pitching sessions by seven teams from the Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Hons.), Year 2 Semester 3, Faculty of Built Environment (FOBE).

The competition highlighted exceptional creativity, innovative thinking, and practical design solutions aimed at enhancing TAR UMT’s co-working space, transforming concepts into purposeful and impactful environments.

A Historic Milestone: TAR UMT Shines at the iSpark International Pitching Competition (IIPC) 2025 Finals in Jiangxi, China! 🌏🏆

26 November 2025 marked a significant milestone for the iSpark International Pitching Competition (IIPC) 2025. For the first time, the IIPC was held outside Malaysia, hosted by Jiangxi Vocational College of Foreign Studies in China.

With the theme “Collective Intelligence. Global Connectivity,” the competition brought together 270 young entrepreneurs, 70 innovative projects, and 16 universities across 8 countries.

🚀 Celebrating TAR UMT Success

We are incredibly proud to announce that the TAR UMT teams have achieved outstanding results on this global stage!

• Wastepaper-Based Panel (WBP) as Infill Insulation for Flush Doors

🥈 Second Prize:
• I-DOMAS: IoT-Based Durian Orchard Monitoring and Analysis System
• Vero-Plenus: IoT-Integrated Smart Dashcam for Real-Time Driver Assistance
