👷‍♂️ Little Builders – Day 3 (Holiday Programme)

Today, our little builders rolled up their sleeves and got busy with some exciting “wet works”! Dressed in their adorable construction-themed dungarees, the children truly looked the part as they stepped into the world of building and construction.

Using a slimy flour mixture that resembled real cement, the children explored sensory play while learning about an important part of the construction process. They mixed, scooped, spread, and worked together, just like real builders on a construction site.

The fun continued with painting activities and brick-stacking challenges, where children practised their creativity, concentration, and fine motor skills. As they carefully balanced and arranged the bricks, they learned about stability, coordination, and problem-solving through hands-on play.

With teachers closely supervising and guiding every step of the way, the children were encouraged to work safely, communicate with their peers, and build confidence as they tackled new challenges.

Seeing all our little builders proudly dressed in their dungarees added to the excitement and helped create an immersive learning experience. Through messy play, creative exploration, and teamwork, the children gained valuable skills while having a wonderful time building, creating, and discovering.

👷 Little Builders – Day 2 (Holiday Programme)

Today, our little builders began the day with an important safety briefing, learning how real construction workers stay safe on site. Through discussions and demonstrations, children were introduced to basic safety rules, the importance of teamwork, listening skills, and following instructions before starting any construction project.

With their safety knowledge in place, the children moved on to the exciting task of building a house. Guided step by step by their teachers, they learned that every strong structure starts with a solid foundation. As they carefully planned, assembled, and constructed their houses, they developed problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and patience.

This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork while giving children the opportunity to experience the construction process in a fun and meaningful way. Most importantly, they discovered that building something great takes planning, cooperation, and perseverance—valuable life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

These trainings help our educators gain new knowledge, improve classroom strategies, strengthen communication skills, and create more engaging learning experiences for our students.
