💖😘【When a 2008 student becomes a beautiful surprise… 】

Seven years. 🥰
Leon started art with me when he was just 6 —
bright, witty, and wonderfully creative. 🎨


💖And then one day…
he and Hui Yee (also my former student)
walked back into my studio.
I didn’t expect it.
And I was so, so happy. 💛
We sat together,
looked through old photos,
and watched their childhood memories come back —
one laugh at a time.


💖And in that moment, I realised…
This is the most meaningful thing
a teacher could ever receive.
Not applause.
Not results.
But the quiet return
of a student who remembers. 🦋

💥I paused for a moment when Enri told me…
“Teacher, I want to paint Mona Lisa.” 🎨
He is only 5.😘

But what touched me most was not his choice…
it was his question.
“Why does she always look at me, no matter where I stand?” 👀
I smiled. 😊

Because in that simple question, I saw something very special.

This is what I love most about teaching.
Not just guiding them to create…but discovering who they are —
their thoughts, their personality, their uniqueness.

✨ Two kids. One legend. Endless imagination. 🌟
Come… it’s storytelling time 🐒✨

✨ Inspired by a legend from Chinese mythology…
Once upon a time, a magical stone cracked open with a BANG—
and out came a monkey who would shake the heavens.
He could transform 7️⃣2️⃣ times, leap 108,000 miles in one bound,
and caused so much chaos that even the Jade Emperor lost his cool.


The Buddha sealed him under a mountain for 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ years…
until one day, a wandering monk appeared.

In that moment, the monkey leapt up:
“Master, I’m coming with you❗️”

That is Sun Wukong 孙悟空—the Monkey King. 🔥🐵

And then…
Two young artists heard this legend,
picked up their brushes,
and let their imaginations take flight. 🎨✨


👦 “He needs a DRAGON!”
So he painted one—
bold and fierce,
coiling through the sky,
its scales glowing with fire and colour,
charging forward with unstoppable energy. 🔥


👧 “He should stand on a cloud…
holding a crystal ball in one hand,
and his golden staff in the other.”
And just like that,
her Monkey King came alive—
wise, powerful, and completely her own. ✨
Same legend.


Two minds.
Two entirely original worlds. 🌈


✨ This is what happens when children are guided to think, interpret, and create in their own way.

🌈 Boy, boy, boy… and their wonderful imaginations.
A dinosaur, a flying elephant, a tiger family… welcome to their colourful worlds. ✨🎨


A dinosaur wandering through colourful mountains. 🦖⛰️
A flying elephant drifting across the sky. 🐘☁️
A tiger family living under a treehouse. 🐅🌳
A little duck crossing a bright river. 🦆🌈


Sometimes a painting begins with just one small idea.
🎨A line becomes a creature.
🎨A colour becomes a landscape.
🎨A scribble becomes a feeling.


And slowly, the canvas fills with stories only a child could imagine. 🌍✨
These little worlds once hung on the wall of a real art gallery during our children’s exhibition. 🖼️


Watching the young artists stand beside their paintings — proud, excited, and a little shy —
was a moment I will always remember. 💫


Because every painting carries something precious:
a child’s thoughts, their stories, and the way they see the world.
That’s the quiet magic of children’s art. 🎨✨
