With divine grace, we had the opportunity to extend our humble contribution to Persatuan Kebajikan Kesayangan Maha, Jenjarom, Selangor, a home that cares for 32 school-going children.

Serving these children is not merely an act of charity, but a sacred seva (selfless service) to God, who resides in every soul. We sincerely hope that this contribution will help ease their daily needs, particularly in providing food and supporting their educational journey.

Let us remember that when we serve those in need, we are serving the Divine Himself.

For those who wish to be part of this noble cause and receive blessings through giving, you may kindly contact:

TODAY IS KRISHNA JENMASHTAMI

Meaning of Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami marks the divine birth of Lord Krishna, the 8th avatar of Lord Vishnu, symbolizing the victory of dharma over adharma, love over hatred, and light over darkness. Devotees celebrate with fasting, prayers, bhajans, and meditation on His leelas.

Practise
1. Fasting (Upavasa): Many observe a day-long fast, broken at midnight (Krishna’s birth time).
2. Chanting & Bhajans: Sing Krishna bhajans, Gita shlokas, or Govinda-Nama Sankirtana.
3. Offering: Butter, milk, fruits, and tulasi leaves are offered to Krishna.
4. Meditation (Dhyana): Sit in silence, focus on His form as a child (Bala Krishna), visualize holding Him in your heart.

Mantra / Dhyana

Chant with devotion:
“Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya”
or
“Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.”

Even 11 or 108 repetitions with a calm mind connects deeply with Krishna.

🌺 Varalakshmi Vrata (வரலட்சுமி விரதம்)
*History (சிறு வரலாறு):*
Varalakshmi Vrata is a sacred vrata (vow) observed on the Friday before the full moon (Pournami) in the Tamil month of Aadi (July–August). It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi herself recommended this vrata to Parvati Devi, as mentioned in the Skanda Purana. In Tamil households, it is a cherished festival, especially among women, to invoke the blessings of Varalakshmi—the giver of boons (vara) and prosperity.

*Tatva (தத்துவம்):*
The core essence of this vrata is the celebration of Shakti—the divine feminine power that sustains wealth (Sri), dharma (righteousness), health, and family harmony. Varalakshmi represents the eight forms of Lakshmi (Ashta Lakshmi) that govern various aspects of life. Observing this vrata is believed to be equivalent to worshipping all these divine energies together.

*Things to Be Done (செய்யவேண்டியவை):*

Kalasham Setup: Place a silver/brass pot (kalasam) decorated with turmeric, kumkum, and sandalwood. The pot symbolizes Goddess Lakshmi. A coconut adorned with mango leaves is placed on top.

Lakshmi Face (முகம்): A decorated Lakshmi face or photo is fixed to the kalasam.

Puja Items: Offer flowers (lotus, jasmine), turmeric, kumkum, betel leaves, fruits, and sweets (especially payasam and kozhukattai).

Kuttu vilaku puja can be performed

*Mantra to Be Chanted (மந்திரம்):*
While many mantras can be chanted, a simple and powerful one rooted in Vedic praise of Lakshmi is:

🕉️ “Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseedha Praseedha
Shreem Hreem Shreem Om Mahalakshmyai Namah”

This mantra invokes wealth, peace, and divine grace.

📿 By observing this vrata with devotion and purity, women are believed to receive blessings not just for themselves but for their entire family lineage.

🐍 Naga Panchami (today)

Significance:
Naga Panchami is a sacred day to honor serpent deities (Naga Devatas). In spiritual science, serpents represent kundalini energy, the dormant divine force coiled at the base of the spine. Ritual Suggestions:

Offer milk, turmeric, and sandal paste at ant hills or snake shrines.

Perform a simple puja with a photo or idol of Naga.

Suggested Mantra:
🕉️ "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasuki Devaya Namah"
(Chant 11 or 108 times for inner purification and protection)
