📢 TAR UMT at Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) Conference
TAR UMT participated in the Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) Conference held on 7 April 2026 at Wyndham Grand Bangsar.
The conference is part of the Public-Private Research Network (PPRN), an initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MoHE) that connects universities and industry players to tackle real-world challenges through applied research, delivering practical and timely solutions.
The event was graced by YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education; YB Tuan Adam Adli Abd Halim, Deputy Minister; YBhg Datuk Prof. Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director General of Higher Education, and other senior officials from the Ministry.
Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Tang Pei Ling represented TAR UMT by showcasing BIOBEET Plus, an innovative product resulting from the PPRN research project titled “Integrated Enzyme Treatment and Probiotic Fermentation to Improve the Sensory and Functional Qualities of Beetroot Powder”.
TAR UMT’s participation reflects its continued commitment to advancing applied research and strengthening strategic collaborations with industry partners to drive innovation and impact.
