Experiencing Kyoto latte at Kyoto - what kind of taste would it create?
I would say that it was the 1st time I had arabica (the brand) coffee
And it tasted sweet, rustic and nostalgic - just like my experience in Kyoto
If u ask me, I prefer Kyoto than Osaka
For the space and scenary
For the stories and history
For the ppl who are lively and passionate for their craft
I felt the sense of purpose in the ppl in Kyoto - even though it could b a small mom n pop okonomiyaki shop
When u tell the owner "oishi okonomiyaki!"
They were happy and proud to hear your praise. You could feel the soul and spirit here in Kyoto
As compared to Osaka, we went to a Michelin starred Okonomiyaki restaurant. Although the food was really good, but it lack something
It was only later I realize - it was human touch (when I was relating this story to a fren)
U can sense the waiters there were just cooking like a robot , following the SOP of the Michelin starred restaurant
But he lack the soul n passion in his job. He was doing it for the sake of livelihood (I guess). No right or wrong (and I'm not judging) but u could sense something was missing (from his body language)
The "living for a purpose" energy was missing.
Which is a sad thing
So my question to u is - "Do u live happily n freely even if u r poor?"
Or do u choosee to "Live rich and wealthy but can't seem to find why and what u r living for?"

Grateful for the opportunity to share with 's community together with shong on Tax And Cashflow
