★ Final Round: 18 July 2026 (Saturday, 12:00 - 16:00)
★ Submission deadline:3 June 2026 (Wednesday)
★ Interview: 22 June (Mon) ~ 26 June 2026 (Fri)

□ Eligibility(지원자격):
1. The contest is open to Malaysians whose mother tongue (or first language) is not Korean.
※Malaysians who are working or living outside Malaysia are not eligible to apply for the contest.
2. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the contest:
a. Have lived or studied in Korea for more than six (6) months; and/or
b. Grand or First Prize winners of any Korean speech contests held in 2024 or 2025; and/or
c. Winner, 2nd or 3rd place in the Korean speech Contest in Malaysia held in the previous year; and/or
d. Have participated in any similar Korean speech contest held in Malaysia in 2026.

The Global Leadership Program aims to strengthen participants’ ability to contribute to economic growth and to drive meaningful change in their respective countries.

Program Overview
> Online Courses: May 7 – June 25, 2026 (KST), Zoom Live Streaming
Covers Korea’s development experience, the G20 agenda, and key global policy topics such as growth and deregulation, trade, energy abundance, and innovation.

> Field Study in Korea: Tentatively scheduled for September 2026
Provides hands-on learning through site visits to key industrial and cultural locations.

Eligibility & Application Details
> Target Participants: Experienced public-sector officials and practitioners engaged in global development or G20-related work (minimum three years of experience).

> Language: The program will be conducted entirely in English (All application materials must be submitted in English.)

The Korean Education Center in Malaysia would like to share information on an esteemed scholarship program available to international students who have completed or will complete their undergraduate studies by August 2026.

The scholarship is offered to study at the Gyeongsang National University (GNU). Please read the information below and download the attachment if you are interested in the scholarship.

To be eligible for the FGLP scholarship, applicants must meet specific admission requirements. These include demonstrating English proficiency by presenting valid scores on recognized language tests such as TOEFL (PBT 530, CBT 197, iBT
71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 (New TEPS 327), or providing a document issued by their home university as proof of English proficiency if the applicant holds the nationality of a country that uses English as their mother tongue or official language.

The application period: March 13 to March 27, 2026.

Submission: Prepare the required documents in PDF format and submit them to [email protected] by email.

[KLC] 1/2026 Intermediate Korean Language Courses

The Korean Education Center in Malaysia would like to inform you that the Intermediate Korean Language Course Session 1/2026 will open for registration soon.

We have opened these special online courses for those who have sought a higher level of Korean learning.

The tuition fee and the textbooks for the courses are free.

Registration Period: 4 February 2026 (Wed), 11 AM ~ 6 February 2026 (Fri), 4 PM.
