What is Croup? 🦠
Croup is common viral infection in young children that causes swelling of the upper airway, leading to a barking cough, hoarse voice, and noisy breathing (stridor).

- Caused by viruses (most commonly parainfluenza)
- Leads to inflammation and swelling of the upper airway
- Common viral infection that mainly affects infants and young children
- Mild Fever range around 37.5
- Progresses to a barking cough (seal-like sound)
