🚀 Commercialization Is Not an Event. It Is a Journey.
At Asiatech School of Innovation & Commercialization (ASIC), our commitment towards the Commercialization Initiative is not seasonal.

It is ongoing.
It is intentional.
And it is expanding.

Commercialization is a long, challenging process.
From idea validation → prototype development → market testing → funding readiness → scaling.

No single organization can walk this journey alone.

That is why we are actively engaging and working with more partners across:

🔹 Universities & Research Institutions
🔹 Industry Players
🔹 Funding Agencies
🔹 Government & Ecosystem Builders
🔹 Entrepreneurs & Intrapreneurs

Because when we work together, innovation moves faster.
When we collaborate, risks are reduced.
When we align strengths, impact becomes real.

🤝 Working together is the recipe.

At ASIC, we don’t just talk about commercialization.
We build readiness.
We develop structured pathways (I4I → TCA → TCP).
We support assessments for Technology & Career Readiness.
We stay the course with our partners.

The journey is demanding.
But the impact is worth it.

*Forging the Future of Digital Sabah — For Sabahans, By Sabahans*

Today marks a pivotal step forward as Asiatech Education Sdn Bhd and our partner Start Up Sabah Sdn Bhd to drive a shared digitalization agenda for Sabah.

In alignment with YB Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe’s visionary call in March for Sabah businesses to shift mindsets, communicate clearly, and embrace digital transformation — this collaboration is not just timely, but necessary. As the Minister rightly pointed out, digital adoption is the only way forward for a business approach that is yet to fully emerge in our landscape.

Together, we are mobilizing Sabah’s SMEs — from basic digital adoption to cutting-edge AI integration — ensuring no business is left behind in this transformation. This initiative isn’t about chasing trends; it's about building Digital Sabah with Sabahans at the helm.

Our General Manager for Borneo, Tuan Alex Feaizi Ooi, RTCA, Start Up Sabah’s CEO, Tuan Kevin Chong, and the Minister met today to chart this transformative path. With proper digital education and the right tools, we believe Sabah’s SMEs can be more competitive, resilient, and future-ready.

This partnership and initiative stands as a beacon of collective effort — where innovation meets purpose, and where the Sabah SME landscape evolves through empowerment, not disruption.

Photos from Sabah Skills & Technology Centre's post 27/05/2025

in collaboration with Sabah Skills & Technology Centre, our CEO had the honour of being invited to speak on the topic of digitalization, where he shared strategic insights into Sabah's state-level digital initiatives. He highlighted the pivotal role that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) must play in aligning with the state’s digital transformation agenda. Given Sabah’s unique geographic positioning, the state is exceptionally well-placed to emerge as a leading regional digital hub. With digitalization now firmly embedded within the Sabah Maju Jaya development blueprint, the path forward is clear—Sabah’s SMEs must proactively embrace innovation and digital integration to ensure they are not only part of this transformation but instrumental in driving it.

𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Asiatech Education Sdn Bhd was honored to be invited by Associate Professor Sr Dr Saipol Bari Abd Karim, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya, to speak at the Professional Talk Series 2 | 2025 for the Master of Project Management program. The session focused on a critical and timely topic: 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

In today’s fast-evolving world, projects—especially those tied to research and commercialization—are becoming increasingly complex. Traditional tools and human intuition alone are no longer sufficient to anticipate dynamic changes, manage emerging risks, or forecast project behaviours effectively.

AI is not the replacement of human decision-making, but rather an essential enabler that empowers project managers to deliver on time, within budget, and within scope—despite the growing complexity.

There’s no escaping it, and frankly, no excuse anymore not to integrate AI in how we plan, monitor, and execute our projects.

A huge thank you to the faculty for the invitation and to the brilliant minds who shared the stage:
🔹 Roshnee Rajasingam, Strategic Partner at PMCC Corporation
🔹 Peter Wyss, PMP, FIRSE, MIET, CMC, Group CEO of PMCC Corporation

Their insights into how AI is transforming project management practices in real-world contexts were both eye-opening and pragmatic.

At Asiatech, we are committed to shaping the next generation of innovation managers who are not just tech-aware, but AI-ready.
